In my opinion with rap the lyrics can be really important, Käärijä tells fun and clever stories with his song and uses a lot of intertextual references and clever wording
I LOVE his discography sooo much and the songs are even better live! Käärijä is a phenomenal performer with a lot of charisma and really entertaining! I can't wait for new music and for him to do his highly anticipated european tour so that I can see him live!
I feel like he can only make hits! I love his album Fantastista. And the songs are even better live, his stage presence is so special and the speeches between the songs are almost stand up comedy ^^
I like his sense of humour, it's weirdly wholesome but it works (and it's a huge part of his songs, they're all like funny but also sincere). I can imagine how it would be hard to fully experience without knowing Finnish though
Rap is not really my genre either, but Käärijä is a bit more special and I like his music pretty much, might be that there is also a lot of rock in his songs and rock is one of my favorite genres, but I don’t like too heavy rock.🤘🏻🔥 His lovely personality might also affect to this opinion a bit, because he is so sweet and his sense of humour and charisma on the stage are amazing!✨ I was in Käärijä’s concert 3 weeks ago and I have to say that his music is much better live, because of the energy he is giving, I will see him again in 2 weeks near my home town and I’m pretty excited about that!💚
In Mic Mac music video in UA-cam he sings the song but in the middle of it, it cuts because *the studio owners come and cut the video recording short because he didn't pay them enough for a full video, then he says to the camera that something happened and we can listen to the whole song through the stream apps* Also, he had yellow theme before UMK the Finnish finals for ESC. But because last year's The Rasmus was colored yellow, they decided to change it and go with green instead
Cha Cha Cha tells about the social shyness, especially of men in Finland, and questions whether alcohol is needed in order to have the confidence to get on the dance floor. The lyrics about the person getting drunk are not flattering and paint a bit of a sad picture - hence the underlying question of why someone can't dance without caring what they look like and without Pina Colada... Several of Käärijä's songs are about partying, but they don't glorify drinking, almost the opposite. His latest collaboration with Antti Tuisku called 'Auto jää' is an absolute banger and the lyrics are about leaving the car behind when going to the party. (Be warned, it is an ear worm).
Mic Mac is a bit longer video than seen. But it cuts off when the producer comes on asking whether they had more money because they had paid for only that amount of time. Käärijä goes on to respond that they had no more money, they had already used all the money they had. whole budget for the studio time. Käärijä comes on to say that, you can listen to the whole song on streaming services.

For me it was not really funny, simply because i didn’t understand what is is about. Looking at the lyrics helped definitely :)

Your Finnish pronunciation is very good.
Omg really? 😌 honestly i never had a contact with that language, so it is completely unknown for me!
@@EurovibesbyMaria yes, honestly. I've heard many try to pronounce the names of Käärijä's songs, and your pronunciation is one of the best.
@@patrickuotinen thank you then, nice to hear 🥰
