Love my vq37 in my q70. Left the resonators on. Deleted the mufflers, put 5inch slash cut 18 inches long tips on. Sounds awesome not raspy. They look cool too.
I wish I had guys around me who are this enthusiastic about other peoples cars. Everyone by me in New Jersey act like I’m bothering them if I need work done on my car.
Im confused, the second one still has the muffler and a res delete but you kept calling the second one a muffler delete not a res delete but it still has its muffler. Shouldn't the second one be a resonator delete not muffler delete???
First one is straight pipe from the cat back. Second is a resonator delete, please, don’t delete the resonator, it gets rid of the rasp. Just do a muffler delete.
The straight pipe sounds like tv static. But the coupe resonator delete sounds awesome. Im thinking about doing a muffler delete but keeping the resonators
I’ve been debating on what I want to do also I’m the future I wanna get a dynomotor exhaust system but for now I might go with what you’re saying keeping the resonator and doing a muffler delete
@@EVO_X86 yeah im wanting to keep mine for a good while so im going to do an actual exhaust at some point, but my check engine light went off for my cats. so might just do one now but no test pipes, have to get like a $300 tune for them, not sure yet just so many options
You guys have to understand the coupe straight pipe sounds different than the sedan straight pipe. ive herd a coupe straight pipe in person and it sounds deeper than the rasp of the sedan. These videos dont do these sounds justice.
I think the one with the muffler still on the g37 is a resonator delete and and not a "muffler" delete because the muffler is still on there......laughing out loud!!!
full straight pipe sounds like a bad trumpet. Should have got rid of the muffler and kept the resonator. I did that on my genesis and im gonna do it on both my G37s. Resonator keeps the deep tone without that trumpet sound but makes it loud without the muffler.
It's a little confusing.. when the 2dr drive away the first time, it says "muffler delete" across the screen.. but of I remember from the start of the video correctly, that's the car that still has the muffler on it..
...and when the one with the blue tips that has no mufflers or resonators is shown, it says "straight pipe"... So now I can't help but wonder if the inside tests were marked correctly or not.
what kind of delete would your get? there’s multiple things u delete when u ask for a muffler delete, please respond, hopefully getting this done whenever you can let me know what you did to that beast
I did the muffler delete with burnt tips on my g nd it sounds loud as f*** no joke I kept my resonators nd it's still loud I can imagine without in person it's super louder then the video
@Megatron Knows So I actually decided to get an Fx35 instead for nor cabin room. I purchased a 3 inch Upower X-pipe, two 2.5 Dynomax mini race bullets to replace my stock resonator and two magnaflow performance mufflers for rear. Eager to hear what it will sound like. But before all of that I found out my Cat on the passenger side is bad
Is it an MBRP cat back or is it homemade I would really like to purchase because that muffler delete sounds good I just don’t know what I need to do to get it!!!! Please respond
Muffler delete sounds better, the straight pipe has WAYYYY too much rasp.
agreed.
Straight pipe sounds like a trombone
I agree
y’all wild lmao
@@Eadadong why
keeping the resonater on and removing just the muffler is the best way to go
I want to do this and someone told me I was going to lose horsepower
@@Ivanitis yeah but it’s very minimal... something you won’t notice

first one was way too raspy. I definitely preferred the 2nd one.
Imma go with the resonator delete. Straight pipe was to obnoxious and unrefined.
Just don’t leave the stock muffler, it sounds like shit.
With resonator delete. I have 1320 high flow cats and a res delete, stock muffler, really not the best sound
Its a Muffler delete dumbas*. Resonator delete sounds like sh*t, straight piped sounds even worse
@@justdrive5327 but he left the muffler there but took the resonator
Homeslty i got the resanator delete with the muffler and im liking it its stupid loud lmao
I love str8 pipes, but that 2nd has a nice tone to it. 💯
This seems like a great place to get exhaust work, even offer free inspections. They want an arm and a leg where I live to just remove mufflers.
1st one sound awful. 2nd one sounds pretty nice. Much deeper.
Love the VQ! I got a M37X the muffler delete is the best! Not to loud or obnoxious.

yeaaa
Yeah
the 2nd g sounds a lot better than the first ngl
Description is off.
The second one has a resonator delete,
While the 1st one has the straight pipe.
I love how the vq sounds
Ok I plan on having a g 37 as my next car plus changing how it sounds love both but prolly going with the muffler delete great stuff
did u get it ?

Please don’t ever straight pipe your g, either go with muffler delete or get a proper cat back system.
Thank you for making a video and getting straight to the point!
stright pipes are the way to go for vqs imo the difference isnt as big on camera as it is irl. the straight pipes just sounds better and feels better
I got a g37 sedan and got just a muffler delete, definitely the better option 🔥sounds great in person
Did you do the single exit or kept the dual with the muffler delete ?

I definitely like the resonator delete + muffler keep more than the straight pipe on this particular engine.
I just got one of these bad boys and man do I love it!!

Is it because they are lighter weight vehicles?
The coupe for the win! Sounds close to the OG 3.5 VQ. Very nice!
Muffler delete is perfect 👌

2nd one with the muffler delete sound valid to off the takeoff but to quiet when revveddddd
Muffler delete sounds perfect👌
Muffler delete +1 way less raspy
No fair that the coupes have amazing stock exhaust. To get that sound on a sedan is hard and pricey.
They’re the same engine
@@migueljacskon434 the coupe has a shorter wheelbase and a completely different exhaust system. Doesn’t matter if the engine is the same.

Resonator delete for the win
This isn't a fair comparison since the sedan and coupe have different exhaust from the factory. The coupe is also louder and deeper from the factory.
Like the resonator delete best
JUST MAGNAFLOW i like and my opinion i think RICE
Gotta put the resonator back on mine, caravan exhaust makes it drone and obnoxious

No nothing is louder than straight pipe
Why dont do the pla pla pla shotfire sound ?
How can i make my g37 s coupe sound like the 2nd car in the video?
Resonator delete but keep the muffler is the way to go without question.
why?
Resonator reduce 10% of sound and noise to inside the car but muffler reduce all sound and restrict air flow=low power on high rpm
