That tape dispenser is a brill idea! Also for clean up around nails, I have a great if not better brush. It’s a CONCEALER brush. ELF sells em for a dollar. They work so so well. Trust meh!
If you're doing the nail polish remover sponge jar hack, be aware that if your lid has a rubber ring or top, it will disintegrate and crumble everywhere when exposed to acetone.
I've never tried Vaseline! My last manicure is chipping away anyway, can't wait to try this later! (I need more practice and I'm very sloppy haha hope this works! :))
Putting bottle of nail polish in hot water and waiting for some time is a long process.....try using this hack which I always use....just take a rubber band and twist it around the bottle cap . Now open the cap using your fingers....over the rubber band. The rubber band gives you a grip to be able to open the bottle cap easily . Try using this hack the next time you try to open a stuck nail bottle cap. Thank you .
Placing the bottle upside down in warm water really helps to loosen the cap up a bit. Plus, it thins the polish a little bit, so it help when you apply it... it helps with a smooth application. Great hacks!
Wait what?? Vaseline? I did not see this hack before. I STILL have trouble painting my nails and I often get nail polish on my skin. Damn it, I wish I knew this earlier although I've never tried it and Idk if it'll work. I was at the mall a few days ago, if I knew this earlier, I could've bought Vaseline already at that time. -_- Nvm, I think I'm going to another shopping mall this weekend so I hope I can get the things I want. Especially Vaseline, nail art brushes/paint brushes if there's no nail art brushes, and hopefully I can get a glass nail file. Very clever! Personally I prefer to wind an elastic band around my stuck polish lids- or even better, grip it with a dish glove, the rubber helps hold on to it and you don't need to wind bands around all your stubborn polish bottles then :D

Hey I've been having this problem with my gel manicure lately: it keep getting stained and does so it the same exact pattern so I'm hesitant to think that it's due to some product I use. The stain is a dark beige colour and it's happened twice in a row. Do you have any idea what it can be or how i can remove the stains?
An additional hack to open stuck bottles is to run it under hot water and wrap a rubber band around it. The hot water expands the plastic, like shown in the video, and the rubber band adds a grip to twist the cap. Its never failed me to open my hardest to open bottles!

I have tapered Q-Tips I can use and I also have a jar that has a silicone scrubber to help remove nail polish as well......

Never cut your cuticles! the more you cut them, the faster they grow out again.
