Po rozpadzie Jugosławii, podczas wojny, Sarajewo było miejscem tragicznej okupacji przez Bośniackich Serbów w latach 1992-1995. Ślady wojny są ciągle widoczne na ulicach miasta.
Sarajewo to miejsce spotkania kultur wschodu i zachodu. Założone przez Turków Osmańskich w XV wieku, z czasem przeszło w ręce Austro-Węgier. Spacerując ulicami Sarajewa widać wyraźny podział wpływów dwóch światów, w architekturze jak i w ludziach różnego wyznania. Będąc w jednym mieście można przez chwilę poczuć się jak w Wiedniu, a po chwili jak w Stambule. Zapraszamy na film w którym staramy się pokazać to niezwykle złożone miejsce :)
Hello! In episode #26, we invite you for a tour of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a city marked by a tragic and painful history - Sarajevo. The site of the assassination of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, Franz Ferdinand. This event directly led to the outbreak of the First World War. After the breakup of Yugoslavia during the war, Sarajevo was the site of a tragic occupation by the Bosnian Serbs in 1992-1995. The traces of the war are still visible on the streets of the city.
Sarajevo is a meeting place for the cultures of the East and the West. Founded by the Ottoman Turks in the fifteenth century, over time it passed into the hands of Austria-Hungary. Walking through the streets of Sarajevo, you can see a clear division of influences of two worlds, in architecture and in people of different faiths. Being in one city, you can feel like in Vienna for a moment, and then like in Istanbul. We invite you to a video in which we try to show this extremely complex place :)

You are right, over 50% of people in Bosnia are Muslims. Sarajevo is unique in Europe. You should visit it someday, I guarantee You will live it. It is place where east meet west 😀
