- My friend Tyler ( / gt350la ) joins us as our in-house expert on the 1995 BMW E36 M3 Lightweight. This car dropped close to 200lbs over its factory E36 M3 counterpart. Its low production numbers and stout performance makes it a desirable collectible.

What a fantastic car and of course another great video Shawn. A good friend of mine has an E36 M3 he's owned since new. First time I drove it we drove absolutely nowhere for at least an hour. Didn't want to get out of it. Can't remember the last time I drove a car that made me feel that way. Hard to explain how good these are unless you've driven one. Is there really anything else like it?

E36 CSL Club Sport Lightweight. Very sweet. Shame we didn’t get the E36 GT or the Australian R models.

No, it’s not Jay’s. Client car of my shop. My shop is a block away from his so I’m always cruising in the area. His shop is always a freak show to see. Just incredible what he has in there.
I'm an original owner '98 M3. There has never been a car since I wanted. I had an E92 330i that could muscle it's way around and take the M3 sometimes but the new cars are ridiculous.. it feels like there's 10 computers between you and the road, they weigh a ton, and the throttle response with the turbo is non-existent. I don't think of the E36 M3 as a 90's car since I've been driving it and upkeeping it the whole time ;) Lame thing is it was ignored for a long time and now I get offers on it all the time.

Its not a e36 ltw but I have the 76th produced us spec Regensburg Germany built e36 m3. Seems like a low number to me.
Love the wheels,also the sound is pure pornography,have a BMW 130i and that 6 cylinder is so smooth

Check your specs. This is a US spec car and it is definitely an E36 M3 LTW.
@@AutotopiaLA I'm from swiss,and i had th 3.2 l with 321ps original,it's a big different between the Engine from the Us-spec and the original 3.0l or 3.2l..

This is a 5 speed trans and the S54 would be cool. But considering this is a LTW I wouldn’t touch it. In a beater would be cool
