Anyone else feel like Basketball fans appreciate football a lot more than those coming from other sports?
It's true, I feel like nfl fans can be more disrespectful
I think it depends on the person, these two seem really open minded. I’ve seen a lot of ignorant comments about football from basketball fans too.
@@justlooking1087 Yess yes, they are great. There so many disrespectful youtubers out there.
They're similar games. Football, basketball and hockey are all pretty much the same game with a few obvious difference but there's much crossover
Obviously football being the absolute big dog of sports it is gonna get some negativity from others
The guy you said that looked like Ronaldo at 11:50 is a Portuguese player called Ricardo Quresma who is a very skillful player and he was in the same academy as Ronaldo Sporting and they are good friends, people used to say Quresma was more talented then Ronaldo but he did not have the right attitude to fully fulfil his potential, but Ronaldo had the talent and dedication to be one of the greats
✊🏽
Its Cristiano Ronaldo, the guy that score, its Quaresma, but the person that appear making the move its Cristiano with Number 7.
@@HBBatista It's Quresma pal
Yeah Ronaldo could have been the next quaresma, but Ronaldo said nah fuck that I’d rather be the best in the world. And that’s coming from a Messi fan
@@clintvinther7533 no it isn’t 🤦🤦🤦
Falling in football is easily as embarrassing, I know there aren’t as many leagues and players hence the low amount of basketball players falling. But the amount of attention in football makes it just as embarrassing
IMO I think falling in basketball is a little bit more embarrasing, its definitely close but that grass can be slippery lol
@@ash__117 nah, it isn't even close to basketball, because it's much easier to make someone fall down in football. Basketball players use their feet just for running, so in order to make someone lose his balance, you really have to completely fool them with your moves.
Footballers also have to try to play the ball with their feet and in order to do that, which often puts them in a muss less balanced position and it's also much easier to get your feet tangle up when you try to defend with them.
Things like what Messi did to Boateng are still quite embarrassing, but it doesn't come close to what falling means in basketball
@@maximilianmaier3950 that just makes it more embarrassing in football that soke fucked you up that bad that you got you feet muddled up imo especially when the defender falls and was inly trying to jockey him
@@maximilianmaier3950 plus it takes much more skill to do it to someone in football as football is a more skilled game in general
@@maximilianmaier3950 I agree that some falls in soccer like the Messi and Boateng can be more embarrasing but usually they're falling cause they're slipping around.
I played basketball a lot growing up and you barely see people falling, and when they do we give them shit for it forever. I play soccer occasionaly and I constantly see people eating shit lol, I think it's just easier to start and stop and change directions in soccer cause it's so much more free flowing. In basketball you're kinda limited in what moves you can do.
I think it's harder defending in soccer than basketball which makes it harder to make people fall in basketball. But again, it's close and it's definetly still hilarious and embarrasing when people fall in soccer.
Falling aint that bad in football...we spend a lot of time sliding and hitting the ground...whats really "bad" is when the other player passes the ball between our legs, thats the worst thing and the equivalent to falling in basketball!!
Falling isn’t as bad as a nutmeg but if someone makes you fall on your back it’s not really too far away in embarrassment tbh
CAP look at boateng vs messi
Good to see you guys back. Speaking of Cristiano moving strategically, hope you guys could react to "Cristiano Ronaldo: Tested to the Limit". It's a pretty old and lengthy video, but still amazing nevertheless. You could split the video episodes. Go ham 🔥
Appreciate that my guy
I've asked for that for 2 months, even sent him link on insta. But nothing yet
the thing is that here in europe is what a lot of kids do in the free time outside, get a ball and play on the street, so that practice you guys say that soccer takes a lot is gain as a kid playing, you also find a small soccer field almost in every school generally hard pavement, im from Portugal and i remember playing soccer between classes all the time in Middle School and Elementary
Ngl u guys owe us some double uploads
Definitely coming my guy
Just to correct you, falling while tackling (diving to get the ball from your opponent) is common, and it’s part of the game, but what you’re seeing in this compilation is another level, it is HIGHLY EMBARRASSING for a player to lose his balance on a perfect dribble, it’s not something that happens every game, if you pay attention, those clips are from various seasons, different leagues and competitions, some clips are even 25+ years old !
Been waiting for two weeks good to have you guys back, and btw, falling is more then embarrassing when you get dribbled, you just get schooled
Happy to have u back guys! I don’t think that falling is that embarrassing when comes to play football. Growing up in Italy, I’ve been a fan since I was a kiddo and never got hyped when somebody felt, but since I’ve watched many of these basketball’s fans reaction to football videos, I’ve started to get hyped af ahahaha
Y’all need to watch Jay jay Okocha. One of Africa’s greatest dribblers
Let’s go new video ! Keep up the reactions , y’all bounce off well off each other . And shoutout your bro repping that Real Madrid too .
Appreciate my guy ✊🏽
@@dunsonhouse 🐐 u can react to most controversial football match in history chelsea barca
Going through the legs is equivalent to a crossover and making your opponent fall is worse like the ultimate humiliation lmao
Let me tell you, if you get dropped by a move, that’s worse then a meg, unless you got dropped by a meg in which case you got to hang up the boots
😂😂
Falling after a nutmeg? the whole neighborhood will hear about it 🤣🤣
@@jarazy1232 fr bro your finished after that
Bro, breaking ankles in football is as disrespectful as it is in Bball.
Damn didn’t know that
Pure waffle don’t listen to this…basketball fans appreciate it waaaaaay more. These kids no nothing. I’ve played for pro youth teams, some players tell their teammates they can’t nutmeg them in training, never mind make them look stupid.
Dribbling in basketball is just like football/soccer. It takes hard work to get HANDLES, but anyone can dribble.
15:30 More real talk…you’re on the right track with how teams defend. It is usually a team effort…most pro teams play a zonal defense with men closest to the ball applying pressure while teammates cover gaps and try to make the field “smaller”. When in possession of the ball, the team is doing the opposite…spreading out and making the field “bigger”.
✊🏽
Falling only good in football if it's when you actually tackling or getting the ball. If you get skilled up and left sitting, it bad
You should try and play some football yourselves, then maybe you'll be better at grasping how hard these dribbling moves are
react to Kevin De Bruyne When football becomes Art
If you start kicking a ball at 3, 4, 5 6 years old, its gets natural pretty fast. I started when I was 2/3 (kicking a ball) and actually playing games when I was 5, so it is pretty natural to me. But then you have my friend Tom, who did not play when he was young, and its like watching a drunk person play lool
Ayy man thank y’all boys. Y’all got me reminiscing about my childhood watching some of these players and games. Making me fall in love with the game again✊🏾🔥🔥
Appreciate you watching my guy ✊🏽
Id say falling in basketball and football is as embarrassing as each other especially when done by a skill. I can see where you're coming from though in that a slide tackle in football is legal and therefore being on the floor is more common. The importance comes in distinguishing why they're on the floor. So firstly if they haven't attempted to slide then it's embracing if you end up being put on the floor. If you don't go down but sort of get stuck, that's equally embarrassing I think.
If you go for a big sliding challenge and the attacker skips past you it can also look embarrassing but I wouldn't say as much as the two above.
Personally, if I see a player try to block a shot by going to ground/diving/sliding and getting sold thats a lot less embarrassing in my opinion as its more common.
But as I said before because basketball is played with your hands there is less reason to be on the floor as you Don't need to go to ground to tackle, so if someone ends up on the floor it's likely because they've been made a fool
Good channel guys
the only thing which is highly embarrassing for a professional player is when he got tunneled..that goes into his brain/that is sticking in his mind/that has an mental impact...but gotten faked just with a body swerve is - business as usual so to say - for dribbeling..even when he then falls that´s part of the game therefore that has no mental impact for a professional player...the opponent fans might laugh or make fun about him in that very moment but that´s also business as usual but those players are so focused in the game they don´t even recognize those fans in that very moment when that happened..and the game is moving on so there is no time to think about it anyway ..but getting tunneled by a player is different because that is always taken personal between those 2 protagonists
When they fall we laugh at them! And for sure when the other player is playing with him.
11:17 its strange, sometimes you just see it all before it happens. I have had that before where you are dribbling and you kind of see what you are going to do before it happens, and then it happens exactly as you see it. Its hard to describe, because it happens so fast , its not even a conscious thing at that point, its like a feeling mixed with a Flash of a few images. Happened to me a lot to be honest (generally when you get in that zone) and whenever that happens?....peeps aint stopping me, dribbling without having to look at the ball helps (everyone has to look at it, but when you can trust your touch, its better than eyes)
So I'm a football guy right ⚽⚽ and actually want to highlight how difficult it is for a player to actually beat someone 1 on 1. As a lot of contact is actually permitted in the rulebook it isn't that difficult for a defender (in theory) to be very physical and not leave you an opening to pass. That is why the first thing any player learns is to look for an open player and pass long long before they actually practice any crossovers. Not having a lot basketball experience 🏀🏀 it always seemed to me that it's a lot harder for defenders in basketball to be that impenetrable blockader... but I have no idea if that's actually true
Bro dropping someone in any sport is serious
Would love to see these guys playing football themselves and scoring bangers tbh

You gotta react to best skills without touching the ball. It's like juke moves but in football
Facts, Tennis is in my opinion the hardest sport. No team to help you, next level endurance, speed, strength, agility, technique. Literally every physical attribute is required.
The guy who dropped 3 players 12:42 is Riyad Mahrez you should react to him he's crazy
All other shit can wait. Good thing it was nothing serious and you guys are back for more awesome football
There’s also a way larger pool of professional players to get clips of people falling for footy as opposed to basketball where you’re getting all nba and maybe a clip or two from euro league. So it is more common but that’s just cause there are more of us when you put it to scale it’s prolly similar, it is embarrassing in football for sure
I’d say it’s very close to the same level of embarrassment. There are just so many games and so it technically might happen more
You should check out the original Ronaldo from Brazil. He is a football goat

The most embarrasing thing that can happen to you in football is a nutmeg (When the ball goes through the legs)
The most disrespectful move on football is nutmeg

At 5:50 real talk there. Having played both football (soccer) and basketball for many years and actually trying be a good dribbler in both, I think it’s a wash. Both are hard as hell for most people to get good at. To me, Kyrie and Messi are on the same level of skill…

Americans suffer from skill envy when they watch soccer. Controlling a ball with your feet is much harder than controlling it with your hands.
I definitely understand that

kidd you actually need to pick a premier league team 😂 because barcelona isn't even in the champions league which hasn't happened since 2003 and they are 5th in the spanish league . as for mookie you're in the right place baby you don't need to pick no one . you're supporting the best team ever with the most titles and the number one team in the spanish league

It's not only practice. Dribbling in football is much more than that. Not everyone is able to break one's ankles in football. To the contrary to many other sports (including basketball, no offense), if you don't learn and practice it at a very young age (5-8 yo) you'll never be able to dribble naturally with the ball at your feet (that includes a sunday game in the park). Streets teach you also more about dribbling than clubs (tight spaces). There's a reason why the most gifted players (brazilian Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, etc.) started not at clubs but on the streets, or beaches.
The eye-foot coordination and footwork are things that can only be learned and taught at a very young age. After that, no matter what you do, it's too late.
You should react to Riyad Mahrez (Algeria), a smooth ankle breaker with an insane first touch, playing for Manchester City (England):

A defender in football must know how to manage, the pressure of the game, concentration, the so-called "tunnel vision", the space. In this case where the defender is made Tricked is a mistake of him. When you lose sight of one of those tasks is you find yourself unprepared and there are days when you are in front of guys called Neymar, Ronaldo "O Fenomeno", Tricked is a mistake of him. When you lose sight of one of those tasks is you find yourself unprepared and there are days when you are faced with guys called Neymar, Ronaldo "O Fenomeno", CR7 and the 🐐.
