story /// while some are told to evacuate the city, you're lucky to stay home. stay home with jungkook. jungkook's newly wet hair, strong build, dewy skin, and pink lips. dawned in chunky sneakers, sweats, and a hoodie, all black, you open your door to howling winds and a bunny grin on a young man's face.
"jungkook? what are you doing here? get in! it's dangerous outside!"
"dangerous? it's just a light jog, a few blocks down. took shelter at the flower shop on fifth to catch my breath, and umm... this too."
he pulls a flower out from beneath his hoodie. although a bit crumpled, its shape is still prominent; your smile the same. he tucks it awkwardly behind your ear.
"jungkook."
"mhm?"
"thank you-"
"thank you jungkook~ you're amazing jungkook~ so manly jungkook!"
"get your ass in here."
you pull him by his collar and he yelps, letting his body weight fall onto you purposefully. "do you not have legs to support you, you child of a man!?"
"mmm, not for you my love. hold me."
and so you told jungkook to kick off his shoes before your feet hopped onto his and together, you trudged heavy footed with his weight on your back all the way to your cozy room. the wind howled like a monster, and at moments, it seemed to talk to you like a bad dream. but of course, it's difficult to fall into a nightmare when beside you, is a dream slowly falling asleep.
"goodnight jungkook."
in return, an undecipherable mumble of words. but you imagine he said "i love you" because it's so obvious that he does. who else would run through a hurricane just to spend the night with you? who else is as precious as jeon jungkook himself?
