I’m happy to see so many of you enjoying my voice on these sleep stories. Thanks for commenting and letting us know how much they help you relax. Grateful to be part of the Soothing Pod team.
Arif, I suffer from insomnia and I have recently discovered this channel. Your voice is the only one out of all the readers on the channel that actually puts me to sleep! Thank you so so much. God bless,
I find such comfort in your voice. The stories are lovely too. I enjoy the variety, and I come back to them often. Thank you for creating these wonderful videos.
Dear Soothing Pod, I love your channel and your app. It has helped me so much. I appreciate all the hard work you have put in it. However, I have a question. Why are you guys not updating the app? There are some issues that are occurring with it that should be fixed in order for it to run properly. Is there a new update coming soon? Will you guys address this? I didn’t know where else to contact you guys, because on the app store- you guys stopped making updates a year ago. Will you ever fix these issues? Thank you, i appreciate you!
I'm deleting this initial comment as I agree with the other comments having listened to the reading. The video could be quite triggering for those wishing to fall asleep feeling safe in their mind and in the images they see in their mind. It is reminiscent of the predatory nature of males in society today and the threat that many of us feel when trying to live. Although it is still refreshing for the story to demonstrate the strength of family and female bravery on overcoming adversity
Please put a trigger warning on this story. The content of this story is not soothing or calming in any way and although the voice and storytelling is as good as usual, listening to this story of women being chased and assaulted has ruined my chances of getting back to sleep at 3am. :(
Lmao rly? I think this is the best compared to most sleep story voices which sound *undoubtedly* rapey, I’d say Arif is literally gold tier for sleep voice
@@arif-hodzic Hey there, I don't know how much operational authority you have with this channel or if you're solely a team member on the creative side, but could you please pass along the feedback from these comments to whomever is responsible for optimization and channel logistics? The fact that this video still lacks any content warning in the title or a pinned comment, after multiple comments have been present for _over a year_ calling out the need for such a warning, is an egregiously irresponsible failure to recognize and accomodate legitimate needs. I'm not sensitive to SA themes myself, but I'm a public health professional who works with and is part of several chronic trauma populations; I'm not commenting from a place of emotion, I'm commenting as a data nerd and an educated advocate for behavioral health patients. I guarantee you this content triggers brutal anxiety for a substantial number of people, people who are disproportionately likely to struggle with restful sleep and therefore disproportionately represented in this channel's target audience. I'm not blaming you or anyone in particular for this oversight, but it straight up MUST be corrected. I hope this feedback reaches someone with the agency to take care of that.
There are comments here that are over a year old rightly pointing out that this story needs a content warning. One such comment even got hearted, so they're obviously not going unseen. So, WHY is there still nothing added to the title? Why isn't there a pinned comment? There's not even something in the description (which wouldn't be noticeable enough to be effective really, but it would at least show recognition of and compassion for the issue). That's shockingly disappointing, and makes me question ever returning to this channel's content. Thanks for your feedback, we just put trigger warning in the title. Somehow we missed to see some of these comments until now, and somehow we missed the whole issuing part from the beginning. Usually we try to avoid all possible triggering parts from these myths when adapting them for our sleep stories but even though we were checking the script before recording, and even the audio when it was ready - we totally missed to notice that part. You, and everyone else, are completely right for pointing this out - we truly apologize for such mistake.
@@SoothingPod That's what I like to hear! Thank you for taking this seriously. Oversights happen; IMO what matters is accountability and correction, and better late than never of course! I imagine that any high-volume content creator/publisher of any kind will, if active long enough, run up against something like this eventually. I'm just happy to hear this wasn't intentionally ignored, and especially happy to hear that change was made. That's what matters. Thanks for your response, and for all the work that goes into making this channel a safe space for all listeners. 💚

There's nothing quite like pressing the "play" button and hearing that beautiful voice of Arif's saying "Hello!"
Thank you so much Soothing Pod!

No one brings the Zzzz's like Arif. Thank you.

I love your voice but, due to how my brain works I cannot picture anything in my imagination so that part is just frustrating to me.

I'm wondering why some of your videos are just for kids so I cant save them to a playlist ? 😢
It is because YT decided those few are for kids and we cannot change it, sorry about that.
Content warning in the title would have been appreciated, thanks love this channel otherwise
Way too rapey to fall asleep to. Needs a trigger warning

@@1rage17 phew… glad it’s not my voice that prompted the initial comment ✌️
