I would have to say largest and heaviest thing on casters is my workbench/assembly table. I would love to upgrade to a new router table with a lift - buy once….cry once! My motto as well, but the saving up for a year between tools is BRUTAL!
I’m actually designing a split top roubo bench for early next year. I’m debating on whether to do it with castors or not. And I’m saving up for that one for sure!
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworks Looking forward to seeing that build. I am going to design a new bench over the winter to build next year as well. It’s too old to work in the shop in Montana most of the winter.
Hi! largest machine on castors in my workshop is about 800kg, and all others that are on castors are about that or a bit lighter. I move them every day, and it is not a problem, they move with ease. The wheels are the best, very strong and durable. I have machines that are fixed but those I do not want to move because there is no need for that.
I looked at your home page and didn't see any videos on the selection process that led you to decide on the Woodpeckers table. I intend to replace my 2012 year old Kreg table that I updated with a Jessem MasterLift in 2013 this coming January. My research eliminated Woodpeckers early on even before including price in the matrix. I will definitely use Woodpecker's SF Pro fence but I ranked their table and lift near the bottom. I'm heavily leaning toward Jessem Ultimate Excel II system less the fence and motor. Anyway, your post has me questioning my evaluation so if you have anything to share regarding how you came to choose Woodpecker please share!
I’ve had nothing but a good experience with the table. I chose woodpeckers because I have always loved their quality and I’m fan of supporting US based businesses. The downdraft table works really well and the fence is really adjustable and easy to modify at the end of the day, the table is a table but I like that it has a lot of weight to it. The spinrite router has been a beast though.
I know this came out a while ago, hopefully you see this. What screws did you use to secure the router plate to the top? I can't find the right screw anywhere.
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworks Just an update....that actually worked. No questions asked. Phone call took less than 3 minutes. Much as I would say to a banana, thanks a bunch.
Love the humour in this video. I, personally, have no quarrels with pocket holes. I love them. Also, I feel a double Roman ogee bit might hurt the most. Firstly, your fingers get shaped like the bit, and secondly, you have to live with the pain that you used the ugly double Roman ogee bit.
I chamfered the bejeezus out of my thumb last summer with a chamfer bit. Hurt like hell. Just barely missed bone so fortunately made full recovery. Did it with the same palm router you used in this video. A couple weeks later, Katz-Moses released his router review video, saying that router was most unsafe. Bought a new palm router after seeing that video…and also because my wife was traumatized from cleaning thumb bits out of the router while I was at the hospital, so didn’t want her to have to look at it again 😂

First time viewer here. I really like your approach to woodworking and content creation. Well done.
Thank you happy to hear that! And welcome to the channel.
Love your channel! Your humor is also really funny and greatly appreciated!
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
That table is sick AF, I’d love to see plans
Thanks!
Your garage is so organized, coming together nicely!!!
Thanks! It’s getting there, I have a few more projects to do before I call it done.
That’s a really good looking table and setup
Glad you liked it! Thanks!

That's big boy! Thanks for sharing!
Haha A large round over bit! Love the table
Yeah that would suck! Thanks!
Well Done! I have the 27" x 43" table on order and would be interested in the plans you mentioned in your post.
Thanks! Glad you like it. Unfortunately I never got around to making plans for this one.

Plans please. Great design and efficient use of space.
Thank you! I’ll add that to the total
Great video as always and the puns are golden as usual. Didn’t know I could laugh so many times on a shop video
Haha thanks!
Awesome mate! Well done!! I will do my router table too. Got lot of good tips 😊
Thanks! I’m glad you found it helpful!
Great job! I'm finishing up my own router table upgrade. Curious, what microphone are you using for voice over?
Thanks man! Love the name by the way! This is the one I use: amzn.to/3V3V51p
Love the build! I have nearly the same set up!
*Nice!* I've been loving it so far; it's nice not to have to clear a bunch of stuff off the bench to get to work.
Hello, I'm considering ordering this router table. Quick question for you, do you find the downdraft cabinet useful at all? Thank you for your time.
Hey! Yeah, the downdraft cabinet is awesome. Not only does it clear a ton of chips, it pulls the work into the router so it feels more secure.
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworks awesome, thank you for the quick response. 👊🏻

I actually called Woodpeckers and they mailed them out for free. I don’t really understand why they don’t just include them.
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworks I'll give that a try. I appreciate the info!
No worries, good luck!

Sweet, yeah, those guys are so helpful. That’s what makes them so appealing. 😂
Didn't the bolts in the frame base interfere with the plywood side and end panels seating frush?
No I cut the side panels a little short so they tuck right under the bolts.
Great build. What is the height of your router table?
Glad you enjoyed it! The table top sits at 37"
Another nice video. Though too many calls for comments. Though I know it drives the algorithm 😎
Thanks! Just trying to offer some variety. 😉

Oh man! That sounds awful. I’m glad you were able to recover and get back into it.
Which router was it?
What is the dust bucket you used?
Do you mean the Woodpeckers down draft cabinet?
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworks I guess that's what I am seeing. It is the black object at the rear with the dust port.
Yeah that’s what that one is
keep hearing "pirate hole jig" instead of "pocket hole"
Haha, that arrright.
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworks you r on top of these comments
haha, I'm actually editing today so I can be quick with it.
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworks well then, more biscuit to watch. Woot
