love the show. I'm from Cape Town, South Africa . I am happy to see that my favorite tea is enjoyed across the world . I Only drink rooibos and i have about 3 to 4 cups a day
Maybe I'm just crazy but I prefer mixing a tiny 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne to my Rubio's tea just to clear my sinuses when you're sick it's very soothing but if you're not sick it'll taste just like drinking red hot candy
Cayenne pepper goes great with all kinds of things, I find. I like to mix it in V8, Chicken broth, Ramen noodles, chai, popcorn, English breakfast black tea. Just get the concentration right... you'll regret if your application of the pepper is too generous.
so South African we drink it all the time. Even babies have it all the time. (I was put to bed with a bottle of rooibos milk tea as a baby). My grandmother typically has 1 cup of coffee in the morning, and rooibos tea throughout the rest of the day.
I usually mix it with some kind of citrus juice. Orange juice, cranberry juice, lemon juice, haven't tried grapefruit juice - but could be pleasant. Sounds like I'll need to try it with milk - minus the citrus additives, of course. As appetizing as rooibos, curds and whey sounds...
@@gilian2587 Oh yeah, the basic all-purpose home remedy for anything to do with your nose, mouth, or throat, is rooibos tea with honey and a slice of lemon. Works every time! And sounds like you're basically making ice'd tea. Pretty much every iced tea you get in SA is almost always rooibos.
