I tried this recipe today and I am so grateful for the nice lady sharing it on UA-cam. Thank you, thank you! It turned out so yummy I could hardly believe it and I have been a coleslaw lover forever. The coleslaw I made using this recipe is the best coleslaw I've ever had, truly! I highly recommend it for sure.
I also added some raisin to mine then I put a tablespoon in a lettuce leaf and roll it up......so delicious!

Made this today was delicious. Nice to have such fresh flavour in the middle of winter. I added a sprinkle of celery seed and the zest and juice of a lemon. Thanks for the recipe!

Once again another brilliant recipe...I went out this afternoon and bought red cabbage and more cashews as I have the rest in my pantry, and tonight I will be eating coleslaw with my homemade chickpea patties....Many thanks Anja

thank you for that nut base dressing, not only can I use it for coleslaw salads but as a dip for my broccoli, and best of all, not added oils or dairy like mayo, besides, the taste of cashews is to die for, so much better than mayo!

Thanks! I will make this. I am so often amazed the things that never occur to me. Like this dressing. I make my own cereal out of dried fruits, nuts, coconut, oatmeal and seeds, and then I use cashew milk because I don't have to strain it like the almond milk. But I should have thought of this! The cashew would make a perfect substitute for the mayo!

Thank you for this receipe. Due to my Histamin-problems, I used Cedar kernels instead of cashews and exchanged the white vinegar with apple vinegar. It changes the taste a bit, but still delicious!

This is the first recipe of yours that I've tried and it was delicious!! I was skeptical about it all the way until I took my first bite. It was even better than coleslaw made with mayo. I used maple syrup instead of the date because i didn't have any and I left out the cumin as I am not a fan except in falafel. I will definitely be trying more of your recipes soon.

The only things I didn't have was red cabbage and the pitted date (which I replaced with raisins) but this dressing was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!... I'm so glad your video was 1st in line for my coleslaw video search. Thank You!

There was a coleslaw I ate at an event. I usually don't eat it because it's usually slathered in yucky mayo, but took a tiny bit & pretended by eating a bit. Then more .. it was so good! Turns out they use sour cream in place of mayo, & it was not slathered.

This looks great! I guess if people don't like the cumin seeds, they could use celery seed. That's used in a lot of non-vegan coleslaw recipes, so it would give most people that flavor they're used to. Thanks for the recipe :)

Considering making a vegan coleslaw with either mild mustard or a non-creamy version with Vinegar / Acetic acid, though was wonder if both could be used together as well as whether pickling liquid from pickled cabbage / etc can indeed be reused as a dressing / preservative in making coleslaw? If so how much Vinegar / Acetic acid or pickling liquid should be added to the vegetables?
