We had an old pop up camper we first started camping in with our family. Of course our 3 boys were younger and we had a great time! Now we are Grand parents and we are hopeful we will be able to camp with all of our Grandchildren very soon. It's such a wonderful experience
Hi guys! We were the "we don't want to be rude" couple from the RV show. We loved finally meeting the two of you and especially since we have been watching you for so long. Hopefully one day we''ll run into you guys somewhere down the road and have more time to chat. By the way, I (Pete) am with you on the whole snake thing! -Pete & Lisa
Nice video. Hehehe I don’t sleep walk but, once tent camping at 2 ish had to go out side. Step on a Banana slug about 5 inches long. NEVER AGAIN. The wife said I could get arrested for killing, and endangered species. And YES FOOD & FUELS are out of control. And YES I don’t look at the price, Why, because it is what it is……… Go or don’t go. We are over 70 so WE GO. Bucket list is long and life is WAY SHORT at our age.
I don't know that I'd ever be able to go outside in the dark again if I stepped on a banana slug. Those things are VERY squishy. Enjoy all your travels!!! We are cheering you and your bucket list on! -A
59th state breweries are expanding through Alaska. They have another big brewery in Anchorage next to the north coast of the city. And a lot of Alaska is like an island, many of the things not native to the state are imported. Even Anchorage costs are much higher than the lower 48.
Now that I think about; we may have eaten at 49th State Brewery on our second stop through Alaska. We did so much the only way I keep track of it all is looking back on my notes. -A
Here is how you get me on board with something like the Sabre. Turn the back bunk space into something more like the BOW (Bunk, Office, Wardrobe) options you see in some Class A's. I am lookin to have a flex office/bunk space for office 90% of the time but bunks when we have guests.
It was so great getting to meet you at the KC show and chat! So glad that the show did better than expected, despite the Chiefs playoff game Sunday. (Go Chiefs! And quit rolling your eyes, Abby, you traitor, because it's not like your Bears made the playoffs! 😂) So excited to hear that you're going to be back for next year's show! And hopefully the show coordinators can get around that stupid law of having to have 10 Missouri dealers before allowing KS dealers! 🤦♀️
You frequently mentioned you used ebikes in Denali and the cg did not have hookups. How were you charging them? And when you went to town, how were you preventing them from being stolen?
we charged them off the RVs batteries, or during designated generator hours. We also have heavy duty bike locks that we use to lock the bikes together and then lock them to something secure.
I would love to see that art work you found and bought. How nice you saw a show there and saw it for Ethan’s 13th birthday. That was very nice. Can’t believe he’s 13 years old already. Time flies by fast. Can’t wait to see where you are going this summer. Jason wow can’t believe they are putting cheap tires on rvs. That’s not good. Why didn’t they just keep up with what they were doing? That’s pure crazy. I can’t wait to see what your next Rv will be. Abby I never knew about these Stanley cups you are talking about that people are buying into. I never saw yours. I would love to see it. I never knew that they had them out there. Glad you had a great time with the meet up in Kansas City. I’m on a roll now. I’ll see you both real soon. Stay safe.
We can’t believe he’s 13 either. Time flies by and I can’t keep up. You stay safe too and I’ll try to post a photo of the piece of art we purchased. -Abby
Hi Jason and Abby! I live the horror stories of camping. Like sone boys forgot to put away their candy soar air heads. With raccoons eating them from their picnic table. Then someone while sleeping finds a snake under their tent under their bed. Some boy sleep walks and walked to the lake now that is scary when a child does that. My brother used to sleep walk and eat corn flakes and have corn flakes on the table with a milk carton on the table. He out grew that and doesn’t do it now. Thank goodness. Now that is another horror to see a bunch of naked men hiking blood. With only socks on. lol! 😮😂
We lived in the country and had chickens, ducks, geese, cats & dogs. The feed for the birds attracted mice, thusly the snakes came. My first encounter was a bullsnake sunning himself on our newly poured concrete. Then we saw another one in a cedar tree! Talk about a Biblical reenactment! Another one was coiled up on a nest of duck eggs. I am thankful my boys took care of the bullsnakes. They were nearly 4 feet long! Not an animal I am willing to mess with! Cheets!🎉
My BFF's mother was English and for years, BFF would ONLY drink warm, black tea. (I drink about 5 cups a day-all kinds of warm tea, though.) Neither of us like iced tea. Just put one of the kids in that storage bay at night 😉 j/k I did see a '3' bunkhouse (the third being on the floor. Jason, you can't build a second platform and manage to get all 3 to fit?
I’ve never been a big hot tea drinker but I love unsweetened iced tea. My Grandmother used to make sun tea all the time and I loved it. Perhaps that’s a regional thing? J might just have to raise the third off the floor to get a real three bunk option. lol.
Growing up in a small apartment in NYC, my younger brother and I shared a bedroom until my early teens. Witnessed him, more than once, sleep-walk into a corner of our room, where he “relieved” himself!😬
Our son when he was a lot younger, used to have night terrors , scared me half to death. Not many, but the first one, he finally fell asleep on top of me. It was so scary for me, I'd never heard of them before.
No, but I've had a Mountain Lion and I just remember thinking "if I don't move perhaps it'll move on and leave me and this tent alone." The next morning we woke up to tracks all through camp. Ahhh, to be 17 again. lol. -A

What wonderful memories you made with your children….and memories to come with the grands! ❤️

My brother also had a sleep walking incident where he peed in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator! 😅
Well there goes those vegetables. 😬🤣
Thanks for the upload, keep 'em coming! 👍

You should check out Sabre’s new 26BBR. It’s for what you’re asking for at around 30’.

I am with you Abby…but mine is spiders. Cockroaches too. I basically have to avoid the desert during that awful tarantula season. 😱
I am not the spider remover in our house. Eek! -A
Earthing is walking barefoot.

I can’t wait until I see the picture of the art you just purchased. Thank you Abby!
Hiking naked day is in June I think….😂

Thank you Abby, I was a Hamilton hold out too, and dang if it wasn’t brilliant once I saw it…..lol
Right? I do this ALL THE TIME and with so many things. Lol.

We saw the same species sunning itself on a trail, it was on concrete, over a bride, pedestrian bridge, but they're huge!
oh, wow. I may have had to move. lol. -A
Gotta love Nebraska. ❤ perhaps I am biased...
We love Omaha! The Zoo there is amazing. -A

I’m sure your parents loved cleaning that up. lol. -A

I'm sure you were such a comfort to him. -A
So, ever had a gator brush the side of the tent? It was rubbing along side me. It took everything in me not to move.
Oh my God! Scary! Geez.😮
No, but I've had a Mountain Lion and I just remember thinking "if I don't move perhaps it'll move on and leave me and this tent alone." The next morning we woke up to tracks all through camp. Ahhh, to be 17 again. lol. -A
Why is she smelling her index and middle fingers?
Wouldn’t you like to know…
