Gotta love those indispensable 1x2x3 blocks
You have incredible weathering skills. More important, you have the imagination to generate a scene and know when to apply those skills. Kudos.
Thanks so much! I appreciate that a lot. 😃
whoever disliked this video belongs in that room. amazing job! the music is perfect too.
You are really good at capturing the atmosphere of the places you explored. I think once this pandemic goes away and I have more money, I would definately consider doing the Patreon thing. You have a really good eye for spooky old buildings and really bring them to life!
I definitely hope to grow the channel to the point where I can spend even more time on it and have a Patreon. We’ll see! A lot of these are based on photos I took while I worked on a film about the place a few years back. It’s called Project Senium, you can find it here on YT and Instagram if you’re interested!
Looks really great, I think there should have been an observation window in the door so the staff can look in on the patient without having to open the door.
Your channel is criminally underrated, this is absolutely phenomenal, you have a new subscriber sir!
This is SO COOL I cannot believe this video doesn't have more likes
That is incredible!
Thank you!!
It’s looks so realistic and super awesome!

Thanks so much!
Bloody amazing! , only wish my modeling skills where this good, enjoyed watching your videos.
This looks like a shot of one of the places that The Proper People has explored. Awesome job! Just subscribed yesterday.👍
Wow! Even liked how the drawers edges lifted up like real weather damaged wood ! Sooo detailed!
I appreciate it!
Amazing! The weathering techniques you show are very clear, thanks for that
Thank you! Glad I could help!
It looks so real
Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Cool! Its amazing the amount of detail you put everywhere, making it very realistic.
Thanks! I usually want to keep adding details but have to decide to finally let it be so I can move on and get more done haha.
Excellent work - you have a new subscriber!

These are absolutely amazing. The photos and videos are flawless. I'd never, in a million years guess that they weren't actual rooms! Your skills and attention to detail are flawless. Keep up the awesome work!
That’s absolutely amazing dude your works on another level, dropped a sub this is exactly the kind of abandoned creepy looking stuff I want to try my hand at. Thankyou for the videos and great tutorials .
Your painting, weathering and textures are masterful, the way you made that door is art in its self. Thank for enabling us to watch.
Thanks so much!

Stumbled on your channel as a suggestion on my feed, and boy this is amazing work man, I'am taking notes from this video for a future 1/6 scale dio I want to work on for a Joker figure. Really amazing techniques and application. Officially subscribed!!!👍🏆🏆
Thank you! I’m glad you found the channel, happy to have you! Sounds like you have some good ideas.
@@AbandonedMiniatures always good to follow artists on any medium, and as a collector always on the search for ideas and inspirations and this one hit the spot, great work.
Dude, that was fantastic
Thanks Dustan!
There is something spooky about long abandoned places.
An abandoned sanatorium also has something incredibly unsettling to it.
Love you creative set up to hold the frame together so smart
Thanks!
Speechless work ❤❤😮😮
Very nice my friend!
Appreciate it!
You've made decay into an art form, impressive work!
my god, this is wonderful!
Потрясающий реализм! 👍
Thank you!
So realistic. Amazing. But as I understand it, a 3D printer is not always necessary? It's just easier with this?
Awesome work. What inspired you to make miniatures?
Thanks! I love the history of these old places and wanted to use my photography/filmmaking experience to recreate them without graffiti and some of the vandalism. Miniatures let me do a lot in a small space!
Wow, very realistic looking. That was a lot of work you did making the ground. I was thinking that some fine gravel might have helped you achieve the look a bit easier. I haven't made any dioramas yet. I have 2 cats that would be helping me and they would be more aggressive about it than your cat. BTW, he is a handsome cat.
Thanks so much! My cat can be destructive too, but I agree I think he’s pretty handsome!
Love your channel! BTW where do you get your miniature operational door hinges, please?
Thank you! These came from micromark.com but I’ve seen them at hobby lobby in the dollhouse section as well
You are a rust master - and your final photos are so good! Don't know if it's your style - but some element of abandoned amusement park? I love those.
That would be a lot of fun!
I came from snapchat and holy shit! Your work is awesome!
Very cool...
Thanks!
Te quedo re zarpado!! 😍😍 En la ventana se ve como si hubiera otro edificio del lado de afuera o me pareció a mí? Saludos desde Argentina 😁
.
It's very cool!! 😍😍 Does the window look like there is another building on the outside or did it look like it to me? Greetings from Argentina 😁 (sorry my english)
Thank you! That’s a good observation! I actually printed a photo of another building and put it outside the window when I filmed the finished diorama, so it looked like it was really there.
@@AbandonedMiniatures quedó muy bien 💪🏽
Hi I've just found your channel... and subbed... WOW!
I make ambient music and some is dark/horror ambient music... I've been wondering about attempting to make this kind of miniature set/rooms for shooting the videos to my music... This is such an awesome talent you have and its so gritty and realistic, cliché statement but very true.
And I love how you show how its done rather than just be wowed with seeing it happen silently.
Totally ace work, on to the rest of your videos!
If I do end up starting this route would I be ok to ask any questions? 🙂
Thanks! I will be getting back to posting more videos soon, but if you want a good way to communicate with me and ask questions you can join my patreon.
I like it. And I like music in this video. Can you tell the name of music?
Love your work but I was wondering why you chose to do abandoned derelict buildings.
I’ve always been intrigued with abandoned places and the history behind them. After taking photos and video of these places for years I wanted to try and recreate them without graffiti and maybe recapture a little bit of the essence of the original places without all the distraction.
Amazing work. What scale do you work in?
Love what you're doing with these videos! The dropper that you are using when putting down the blanket and dirt on the floors are you mixing in glue and water to help stick that stuff in place or is it just water?
Thank you! Sorry for not explaining in the video, but I use some diluted rubbing alcohol first, and then a mixture of glue or mod podge and water, usually 3:1 water and glue. The alcohol helps the glue flow into everything instead of sitting on top. It dries clear and does a great job sticking small things like dirt and dust down!
@@AbandonedMiniatures Brilliant! I figured there was something else going on with it. Thank you!
No problem!
Hi, you did a really great job in your dios. Is it a special scale ? Greetings from Germany
Thank you! They are usually somewhere around 1:18 or 1:24 scale. I haven’t tried to make them all an exact scale, but I will probably need to start doing that soon to keep everything organized.
Is the modeling paste the same things as the spackling putty?
Hi I've been crafting for a while but just starting out to do dioramas. What size do you work to? What size base do you start with? Thanks Emma
What is your cutting tool?
For the glass? It’s a tungsten carbide tip scriber tool.
could you do the last of us main menu room? would love to see that
That would be fun!
I spy another Luke Towan fan!
Why did you do that scene in particular ?
This was just one of my favorite photos that I took many years ago!
Ahhh me again .. as I forgot I had a question. That being are you working in an overall scale so that it's all uniform to that scale . Or different and varied scale and use whatever makes each part look the best in the overall piece .Or no scale whatsoever and only just doing it by eye and what makes each piece look the best in the overall look of the piece ?
I hope that makes sense ..as I re read it in not even sure it makes sense to me ..
I have not been too strict on scale, some of them I’ve basically just gone with the scale that fits with the largest I can 3D print for a certain item. But most of these are somewhere around 1:18 and 1:24 scale.
@@AbandonedMiniatures good to know . And that is a fair and understandable way to go about it. Thank you for your reply !!
