Hello everyone! I’ve seen a lot of comments about my intro being Black Swan from BTS. I found the song through a Kpop Lofi playlist while studying and thought it sounded nice. Listening to a Kpop playlist it is kinda impossible not to run into BTS but it was a remix without words so I don’t really count it as listening to the song or especially the MV. I hope this clears that up and you all enjoyed the video~ 😄✨

I understand.. i used to listen to danger and boy in luv when they first came out too coz a dance cover group i like danced to the songs so i just added them to my playlist but i didn't know their faces or names or anything at the time.. it was after i actually saw the Dope MV that i started to really like them.. after that i start learning their names and buying their albums..

Actually Dope is a little deeper than that. Rm’s verse ‘given up at 3? Given up at 5?’ Is referring to Korean society where young adults have given up on ‘Marriage, giving birth & dating’ and given up on ‘dating, marriage, giving birth, home/ work & human relationships’ - this is what the Korean media called the current generation. People giving up on these things. There’s more to that but the comment will be too long. If you want to know pls google Dope explanation, it’s very cool, I promise!

Me too Ava, I’ll be 71 in March. BTS reminds me so much of the Beatles! Dope was my first intro to them a year and a half ago; the dancing, lyrics, energy! I love them all but my bias is JK. I saw them at SoFi on Dec 1, unforgettable!!

I turn 65 in April. Started listening to BTS in 2016 and full ARMY by 2017. I even have a small YT channel too, though I'm not active much right now. I love DOPE! I think it's my fave. Also love NO, Not Today & Mic Drop. Well, I love just about all of their music, of course! But what I really love is them as human beings. They are just wonderful guys and as this young man said, they are very inspirational. Even grandmas love them!

JK is sub-rapper, often in the center in older content but BTS never had an official Center-position (for newbies: maknae means the youngest of a - close - group of people)
J-Hope is sub-vocalist but also dance leader (I don't think this is an official position but it is true even than)
Tae... I don't think he ever was officially named Visual (even as he is one) and he earned a place in the dance line with "Singularity" but there is no lead in front of it as far as I know
That said categorization is pretty dumb and these are old positions that aren't been named in official content in years.

Please stop introducing with all the titles. Like maybe the mains to give recognition to recognize the extra work that can imply. But I hardly think it's necessary to distinguish between Suga and j-hope as rappers or Jimin, Jin, and Tae as vocalists. They've all been at this for over 10 years, have incredible talent and their own niches. Those titles are archaic and I bet even BTS would fight you if you tried to imply otherwise. It gives new ARMY the impression of a talent hierarchy which is not the case.

@@inyochayacha548 It isn't about lieing but do you seriously think J-Hope's (sub-)vocal was considered the same as Jin's voice or Tae's soulfull tone? It isn't about lieing. I don't think anyone does it on purpose.
That said between all the videos and websites what I wrote seems to have been the gist of it.
But again you won't find this in official content anymore. And fans (solostans) love to push narratives that favour their bias. They don't mean to misslead but it happens. (so it can also happen to me but do we really need to fight about it?)

Welcome to the big rabbit hole of BTS, there so many excellent songs of theirs its hard to select just one, a whole series of the music videos also has a storyline woven in so they are linked. They also have dance practices, funny moments, behind the scenes, and shows like Run BTS, In the Soop, V Live etc as well so there is lots of content even informational about the boys and with english subtitles as the fan base is very dedicated. I do like the american songs but i am more a fan of the korean ones........so enjoy

Bts is the biggest group in the world, the are 3 rappers Rm, J-hope, Suga and 4 vocalist Jin, V, Jimin, Jungkook. Bts have 6 nr 1 songs at Billbard 100 and 5 nr 1 Album at Billboard 200. This year the won 3 Awards at Ama the biggest was Artist Off The Year, the performed 2 songs at Ama My Universe collab whid Coldplay and there nr 1 song Butter (was nr 1 for 10 weeks)

New subscriber here! I love to watch people watch BTS for the first time. Dope is still just as incredible to me as when I first saw it a couple of years ago. I was asleep too on BTS ~ my then-teenage daughter tried to get me into them back about 5 yrs ago, and I was just not interested. But Dynamite came into my life, and I have been obsessed ever since… I will check out the rest of your BTS reactions. I also might make a few suggestions as well. People should watch the m/v if they want to hear the music better, not a reaction video. I've got a small channel and it helps with copyright if your music is lower than your voice. I thought your volumes were perfect! 💜 And I loved your reaction.
You should really react to who is BTS by Xceleste or the introduction to BTS by Ida S & learn a bit more about them. They started as a HipHop group & debuted in 2013, there first song No More Dreams followed by We Are Bulletproof part 2, it is good to look back at these to see just how young they were when they started, Jungkook the main vocalist now was just 14 (15 in Korean years) to where they are today as Global Artists. The fan group is diverse coming from all over the world and a range of ages... even seen comments by people in their 70 & 80's. They have that much appeal.
BTS has 4 vocalist & 3 Rappers, they can all dance, but J-Hope was a Street Dancer & Jimin was a top student at a modern dance academy.

I' think you should watch drip drop by Taemin he is one of the best dancers and singers in K-pop. He has his own style but you can tell in his dancing he was heavily influenced by Michael Jackson. His last song Advice has great visuals & dancing as well.( he is in the military now)

The guy you thought was cool is Jungkook. He is the youngest member of BTS. He is their main vocalist; sub rapper and lead dancer. He does most of the ad libs and background vocals on their songs. RM (main rapper and leader of BTS) doesn't like to go by Rap Monster anymore. He prefers just RM and I have heard that he says if it stands for anything then it is Real Me. The rapper that pushed J-Hope (rapper, sub vocalist and main dancer) out of the way (and sang enemy, enemy, enemy) is Suga (lead rapper). The detective was the vocalist "V" and the doctor was Jin (eldest member of BTS). The guy that loosens his tie at the end and sings about BTS style is Jimin (lead vocalist, main dancer). All of the members write and produce their own music. Suga and RM write and produce most of their songs though. Jungkook does editing and actually directed their mv for "Life Goes On"

No that was not actually fire. This song is actually dope their song titled fire is actually fire. But at the beginning of the song fire dope is playing in the background before one of them jumps over the fence.
