- We continue to sail around Fiji, but the ladies get a little carried away at our patreon meet up where we all go to to a floating bar then get picked up by a superyacht for a wild booze cruise!
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. We found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are now sailing across the Pacific Ocean!!

I’ve said this before, but this is the BEST UA-cam sailing channel. And I think it’s not only because the crew seems like extended family, but Colin is the best captain and one of the best human beings on the planet. And it comes through the screen with ease. My only wish is for longer episodes, as I can’t seem to get enough.

Totally agree 100%. I've been blessed to have been on a boat under Colins captainship, and he is the absolute best. He's super fun, but safety always comes first.

Have worked with many Fijian’s over the years. All of them expats and most male with the means to escape, chase their dreams, earn a decent living and raise and support their families. The wealth disparity between visitors and locals is wide. The warmth and hospitality of Fijian culture is deep.

These last two episodes gave me goosies, over and over. I couldn't even dream of a lifestyle/places so stunning and gorgeous. I'm in complete awe every time I watch, and live vicariously through you guys and this incredible journey/path in life you're on. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing the most beautiful places/scenery on the planet that we would never otherwise see or even know about. Been a Kava Head for more than 15years. Best stuff around, makes you mellow and a chatty kathy. Zero downside, no hangover or any after affects. Taking it is like drinking a dirt milkshake, but when you get past the taste, it’s worth it. No affiliation, but I get my kava from Kava Kauai in Hawai, they USPS anywhere it’s legal. Party on Garth!

Worst backside of a hurricane we've ever seen in 42 years.

I visited Fiji almost 40 yrs ago, .... after several "Full Tides" of Kava , woke up hrs later in the Kava pit. Fun Times , wonderful people !!!

I remember doing the Kava grinding as a kid for my dad & uncles. We called it mud water novacaine as kids. Drink enough to get the body numb, then wash it down with booze, and a good time. So, jealous of your dinner of Kasava & fish, memories of grandma's cooking. I really hope you get to try more traditional meals, Thank you for showing the beauty of Fiji!

Thank you, Collin for saying that I can’t afford to be a patron unlimited funds, but I watched you when you was doing super yachts and fell in love with you then you are so amazing to watch my husband laughs at me when I say I can’t miss a show that you put upI said he’s doing what I wanna do but I’m 69 years old. I know I can still do things but that’s probably a little bit much still healthy and go go go but I live through you on the sea.
You need to save up if possible, and go spend maybe a couple of weeks on the boat. Just let them know your level of fitness and do what you can. You won’t get the chance again and once you get through the first few days of getting over being sea sick, you’ll be able to get into it more. Just go and do it.

Beqa Lagoon is a larger circular reef where, depending on direction, the swell wraps around the outside of the lagoon. Saw a few sailboats with surfboards anchored in the lagoon couple of decades ago. Diving was pretty good.
