If he is still playing, I could find nothing on the internet about him; many young prodigies burn out by adulthood which is a loss for us, the fans, but I understand it; I had talent too, just no dedication. By age 17 I moved on to other interests
There are four people who gave this performance a thumbs down. They either do not appreciate classical music or the composers, are complete poseurs, or are imbeciles. Do not rate what you cannot comprehend. This young man gave a BRILLIANT performance!

Mislav was only 14 years old when he played that Chopin's Variations
Sasa Ivaci, I have watched this performance over and over again. Mislav's interpretation and technical skills are so BEAUTIFUL for a young man. He MUST pursue his art. He will be a great pianist one day! PURE TALENT.
well I wouldn't say exactly brilliant but he is doing well for someone his age, his performance lacks phrasing, giving it a somewhat robotic feel to it.
Why does his face appear so dark? Is it the fault of the lighting effect of the camera man?
This work reminds me of "the American Chopin" Lous Morrow Gottschalk.

from what I can tell from his performance, he seems to be the type of pianist that uses a metronome too much, resulting in a somewhat robotic performance, which is why I personally don't like using a metronome too much and so that I can work on interpretation details such as phrasing.
Can in no way compete with the performance of Claudio Arau! Too slow.. and not the same "pep"! Too many manners and theatrical "poses". A good musician must be sober in his gestures.
