Garth Le Roux and Stephen Jefferies is in my view the best opening bowling pair Western Province of South Africa ever had.
great bowling action
Steven and Garth le roux were and are still legends in Western province cricket.
Took 10/59 in a first class match that same year back in SA.

Another Brilliant Upload
I knew Jefferies when he was still a schoolboy
Ironically, Stephen Jefferies also once played for Derbyshire. I remember seeing him and Paul Newman opening the bowling against the visiting Pakistanis at Chesterfield in 1982.
Nicholas could’ve caught those in his big gob🤣
Great day.
He reminds me of Wasim Akram in many ways.
Well he’s left arm
@@vantheman1238 True, but similarish action AND great swing.
He was not as quick as Wasim so relied even more on skill.
Derby beat Glamorgan in the semi final, Matthew Maynard's helmet fell off and hit his stumps!!!!
Worst ever acoustics at a Lord's final. Reverbs aplenty. Derbyshire batsmen clearly suffering from inner ear issues.
