- A unique and delicious Lebanese flatbread with za'atar or famously known as man'oushe za'atar. These are baked in the oven and even that, they still have that rustic look that we love about flatbreads. Easy and delicious!

THANK YOU for watching and have a lovely day! - Навчання та стиль
When you baked Zaatar, the kitchen smells amazing.
It does!
I have a cat that was born and raised in the middle east. He loved Zaatar so much, I bought it once a week for him. Now we lived in Asia, both he and I missed it so much.
Ah that's so cute! ☺ Have you tried looking online?
LOL true Arab cat
An acquired taste, manoushe has always been my fav since I was a kid growing up w my Lebanese mom making almost everything you could think of... then there was my Italian grandmother on the other side & have been lucky enough to remember everything from years of just watching them!
I am lebanese, tried the recipe, and highly recommend it, great job.

Wow complimenti ottima ricetta 😋😋..... New iscritto 😀
Thank you! 👍
My new favorite bread recipe. Making it again tonight. I set a pizza pan over my gas flame and cook these up on top and the texture comes out so unbelievably perfect, a slight delicate crunch on the toasted parts with a soft chew amd super moist soft delicious and fragrant dough on athe inside. It's good with everything.
Awesome, that’s so nice to know. Thank you for giving the recipe a go!
@@elmundoeats I have some baked fresh in my kitchen right now! Thank you for sharing. My husband loves it too. They're even good to use as mini pizza doughs
@@mixedmediaartgirl300 yes! We also use it as pizza 🤤. Oh now you’re making me want some 😂❤️
Za'atar = life
Can you freeze this dough ?
Rachana devi zaatar Recipe please 🙏🙏
منايش لبنانية 😋
Can we keep the dough in the freezer?
can I add all purpose flour instead of bread flour?
I was wondering if I could use regular flour and not bread flour? Because I don't have any on hand.
Although I don’t recommend it but it’s doable. The texture will be different and you’ll also have to adjust the liquid amount. Hope it helps.
Hi, did you put yeast in your dough?
Suhaizah Sinin yes she did...watch again 0:20 or click on the recipe link she has put up...click on the arrow down to find it
Did you use pink salt (Himalayan?)
it looks like it
How long does it normally take for the dough to double?
It depends if your kitchen is hot or not. It could take from 40 minutes to 11/2 hours. Or bit more. Hope it helps.
Im just making this now and im just hanging 2 litres fresh farm yoghurt to make Dream cheese.
I bought some frozen, is letting it defrost at room temp and then eating it OK?
I think it’s best that you check the instructions that come with the package, if you have to cook it first of simply reheat it. Hope it helps!
@@elmundoeats They defrosted really quickly but are really big, even for my oven lol
Folded one snd heated it for a little bit and folded it the other way, was amazing with some olive oil and halabi za'atar
Really just want to try different flavours and this was really aromatic.
Thank you for the reply, you have a great channel!
@@Rosskles haha! They come in giant sizes then. Glad that you found a way though. And thank you!
@@elmundoeats About 1.5x the size of a dinner plate lol.
The fact that you reply to comments was the main reason I chose to ask, viewer interaction is really underrated. The package had no instructions.
Also, I'm lucky I live close to a lebanese shop in a cold, wet Scottish town!
Thank you again!
Ill never be able to find zataar so ill just make the bread 😅
Why add honey what does it do
You can use honey or sugar. Sugar helps to activate the yeast.
🦋🦋💙💙🦋💙🦋💙🦋😍💖
I had to use more flour than this receipt, I don't it is because I used Brazilian flour
What is zatar recipe?
Roasted thyme. You can find it at middle east stores.
3 teaspoons thyme, 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, 2 tablespoons ground sumac,
Pinch of salt
Source: Alex French Guy Cooking UA-cam
Youssef Boudjelti correct..it’s easier!
@@clawmansegele1988 actually it's 3 TABLESPOONS of thyme, not teaspoons.
Zaatar Recipe
Do you have to cook it on a pizza stone ?
I recommend it if you wanna achieve a good texture and the air pockets.
If you don't like manoosh I cant do business with you respectfully.
Hi.. Are u Lebanese?!
Me Me lol she’s Asian...click on her links and you’ll see who she is
i was taught to eat the bread with fresh tomato, still a wonderful light breakfast
My husband eats that every single day, with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
