Does the past 7 years of destiny history not exist for you guys? Titans lorelei splendor solar 3.0 could solo master duality. As well as have the most insane survivability/cheese in crucible considering seasonal mods. Titan strand was the best out of all the other strand classes and it’s not even close. Titan thundercrash hoil was the most sought after combo for farming any sorta raid encounter. Most often kicked without running it. For years btw One eyed mask got nerfed roughly 1 year and a half after it’s release. Hunter workhusk crown cot nerfed a couple months into it’s release. One eyed mask heals you overshields you makes you deal more damage to people who shoot you as well as letting you see them through walls with a mark………. People cried more about workhusk for healing on DODGE ON CLASS ABILITY. which got nerfed from 9 seconds to 14 with max mobility. Dodge is the least problematic class ability inside of destiny crucible Titan shoulder charge was quite possibly the gayest thing within the crucible for around 2 years. Have they even nerfed feedback fence within crucible? Getting thunder chained from my teammate who is 200 metres away from me gets pretty ridiculous after the 30th game in trials. Everyone cries about stompees. Cos you guys can’t aim! You’re losing to an exotic that quite literally just makes us jump a little higher slide a little longer and run a little quicker. And it’s an s tier crucible exotic piece. Go and review what your titan exotic armour pieces do for your gameplay. Prior to witch queen. Tether had basically no use after the orpheus rig nerfs. So we all used blade barrage until that got nerfed cos no one at all used celestial nighthawk golden gun. When is the last time you saw a blade barrage. Then liars handshake came out and yes you see the broken melee arc builds…. All of which got boring after a week of just running in and punching dodging on repeat. For years and years hunter did not have anything going for it before 2022 3.0 classes and yes we are strong now. But don’t sit here and say titans never had anything spoon fed to it cos crucible has been your playground for years and builds have come so braindead and strong for you guys so long until now. Sit back and take the time to actually build craft. Something hunters had to do for the longest time

Nothing is as better of an example where right now, there is No point in running titan because of Prismatic. Hunters can do stuff better than what ever Prime Strand Titan fresh out of release could ever do(1.7 million in a SINGLE grapple melee). And Warlocks can do INCREDIBLE damage now that Nova is genuinely really really solid and how Song of Flame is the highest damaging super in the game right now, even though its a roaming super. However, Titan can absolutely be really strong that cannot be denied. But the problem with titan is that Bungie fucking refuses to give anything with damage AND range until Final Shape, where we have Twilight Arsenal. But like I had mentioned, why play titan with that super when you can just nighthawk goldie spam with still hunt and three shot goldie? Or something thats upclose and personal like the first boss in Warlords Ruin, why play strand titan when Prismatic Hunter has basically stolen the whole big damage strand melee thing that Strand titan is supposed to be about and does it SEVERAL times better. Seriously, Titans have a VERY restrictive list of options that grant them playstyles outside of their usual braindead melee loudouts- its why I've been loving the shit out of the new Rocket chest piece 90% of everything else is bungies fault, as it is tied to melees in some way. Also for Feedback, that promotes a very aggressive playstyle- obviously. But you know what counters that pretty consistently? Actually slowing down for a second, which you dirty Stompees hunters can never do, and use your primary gun to shoot him out before the titan can get to you. Slow down, put your shotgun away, and actually take a minute to slow down and try to use your game sense to predict where the titan is coming from and whittle him down before he gets to you. Also, teamshotting lmao. That thing shuts down aggressive playstyles AND Titan Barricades, Speaking about Stompees, it was always so goddamn annoying because those dirty ass Hunters are always in some corner up by the ceiling that you don't quite expect them to be in. And they already have so much incredible movement that Hunters become THAT MUCH stronger with it on. Yes Titan 'Metas' are braindead, but much of the best loadouts could be countered in some way. Especially with how much the game itself has evolved with stasis and strand whatnot Stasis Titan is literally, the WORST subclass to use in the entire game and Strand titan is only useful in PvE where its identity is currently being stolen by Hunter. Stasis Hunter is clearly stronger than Titan's, I would argue that it's meta was stronger than Titans when stasis was new. It even worse to play against with Warlocks, Shadebinders are absolute cancer In short, Titans did have metas of their own- but they where always simple and even kind of niche where they all could be countered in some way, you just need the game knowledge to pull it off. All of the Titan old metas right now can very easily be shat on and destroyed by Stasis and Strand, Freeze and Suspend accordingly. And not to mention Strand Hunter, its hands down probably the most overpowered thing in crucible right now- arguably even oppressive. And what does it center around? Fast as shit movement, right in line with what Stompees does ALREADY without Strand. There is no argument that Stompees hasn't always been super meta(aside from the changes a while back that made it iffy to use, which got reverted). Probably the strongest, or at least one of, metas for titan would be the whole smg/cloudstrike meta with Peace Keepers. But those boots genuinely weren't that bad, aside from the amount of mobility it gave. As all it did was make your SMGS feel snappier and smoother, but nothing about changing the TTK or aim assist or anything. But of course, you don't get to complain about speed and agility when you Hunters have Stompees. A Stompees Hunter could reasonably kill and beat a PKs Titan, do what you Hunters always do- Jump up high and fall down towards your opponent from an odd angle where they will not be expecting you, and kill them with your shotgun. Or better yet, know better than to play aggressively constantly when you know their is a PKs titan so that you have a better opportunity to catch his ass with his pants down, and to punish him for it. Old Titans metas are just as strong as Stompees Hunters, but they all got nerfed to the ground. Even though Stompees nerfed(I think?), it is still incredibly goddamn strong. Do NOT lecture me, when the shit you guys and Warlocks have always had something REALLY goddamn strong to use no matter what changes. Either something new to make up for a nerf, or the old thing didn't really change that much. Titans? What the fuck do we even have now? At least anything that can stand at the same heights as the shit Hunters and Warlocks have. Bastion makes your Barricade take up the best years of your life until it goes through its full cooldown, and bubble got nerfed to shit so fucking hard that its actually a massive joke know. It looks more like a glowing, purple, see-through circus rather than actual BUBBLE. Bungie has taken out so much of the Teeth that Titans used to have in Crucible that I am genuinely considering of playing more Hunter or Warlock, probably becoming a main. I'm tired of being outclassed because of the utter lackluster movement titans have. LITERALLY all we have is our bash melees, and at best they have is a seven second cooldown which is much worse than the cooldown for Icarus dash(Even longer in shit like checkmate). We have thruster, but thats just a hunter dodge while 99% of our exotics actually work with it, so stuff like Crest of Alpha Lupi won't work. Another thing to add salt to the wound with Bubble, with the introduction of Conditional Finality- taking out Bubbles has never been easier. However I feel that its kind of fair, because Bubbles has always been incredibly strong in scenarios where someone can just shit out a Bubble on the zone in Trials and guarantee a win. I dunno man, I guess I am just frustrated to death with how theres hardly anything that Titans can stand out with because of how just about everything they can do right now can be done far better with other classes. Warlocks for Song of Flame, Hunters for Prismatic Grapple. Im tired of it
