Their father/my husband had just had a major surgery due to cancer and needed one more to save his life. He had a 50/50 chance of living through it! @AliciaDawn97 My dad was diagnosed with terminally cancer in Feb 2011 after battling it for four yrs. My dad fought hard and didn't want to let go..he fought till his last day. I said goodbye to my dad on May 15th, 2011. My sister and I were by his bedside for months and especially during his last 2 days. It hurts but I'm comforted knowing he is with God. on April 27, 2010 I was listening to this song on my way to work. little did I know that afternoon an EF-5 tornado would rip thru our town of Smithville Mississippi (where I work) and destroy everything. However, my life was spared that day! I now listen to it each day as I drive to work to remember that God spared me for a reason!!!!

@AliciaDawn97 My dad was diagnosed with terminally cancer in Feb 2011 after battling it for four yrs. My dad fought hard and didn't want to let go..he fought till his last day. I said goodbye to my dad on May 15th, 2011. My sister and I were by his bedside for months and especially during his last 2 days. It hurts but I'm comforted knowing he is with God. I hope God comforts you during this time of sorrow and take comfort in knowing your grandma is still smilin down on you. Hugs
