So glad to see your kitchen project finished at last! It's absolutely beautiful. Thanks for inviting us to witness your incredible journey on building in Ghana. Have been watching you from the UK and admire the bravery, ambition, ideas and passion you have shown in building a new life in Ghana/Africa, my home country. You and your family are awesome. I wish you the very best in Africa our motherland. Enjoy your beautiful home, you deserve it and more.
See how you both are looking so fresh already no stress,if even there’s stress it’s not going to be like the Western World because obviously there’s stress everywhere in this world. I am so so happy for you guys. There’s no place like home Africa.
Wow Monique everything about your house is classy. I'm in 😍 lol. Its refreshing to see a home owner put an effort in their kitchen which is the heart of every house not very common in ghana from what I'm observing sometimes. Usually like an after thought sort of. You are officially practically Ghanaian now making sobolo lol looks good. Enjoy your house I know you deserve it! #classywoman 💕

Wow! I am feeling such an excitement in my chest for you. I watched you n the empty land just a few weeks ago. Then, I started watching most of your journey..your frustrations with the kitchen getting done, etc. I am so so very happy for you both. I want to come to Ghana within a year and a half with my son. I would love to build a home there, whether from scratch or partially. I hope I will be as blessed to realize my dream. Some guidance would be most welcome. Blessings. Again, so happy for you..love your house, your garden..Simply beautiful . All the best for a continuous bright future. Your smile is infectious in a beautiful way. You give me hope that my dream is possible! Bravo on a job excellently accomplished. Peace🙏🏼 P.S. we call it sorrel too n that other flower is what we also call hibiscus. I cannot figure out either why they call the first one hibiscus. Sorrel, yes, an absolutely delicious and refreshing drink. Happy for u! I usually let my "sorrel" sit for 2-3 days. It's a traditional drink in the Carib! But 2 herbs you used I've never used in my drink before and the greens I really need to get to know that herb. Looks great! Thanks for sharing! The Asians use the green leaves to cook. I need to try that too.
Thank you. I used some African spices for my Sorrel drink. They have a peppery taste. The leaves have a sour lemony taste. Very nice cooked with smoked fish. Check out the Congolese Ngai Ngai recipe on YT. You should try it. 😍
