I was here. This wasn't a concert. This was therapy.
😄It was
Saw them in Amsterdam, last Tuesday. You’re right, therapy:)
So true!!!
I hope I was there too, I’ve been waiting for a long time Sigur ros to come here …. 😢
@@ariefbudiman4048 do what ever you can to see them next time .apologize to say... this is so far from the reall event... you can't compare.
I went to their concert in Monterrey, México, being a fan since 2006. Sigur Ros had been an important part of my life since I discovered them.
This was a month and a half after I had been kidnapped and was in a recovery process with therapist et al.
Today I am ok, and got my life back.
Thank you Sigur Ros. Your music healed my wife's and my soul, thank you one thousand times.
Their music literally touches your soul and makes you feel deeper emotions than any other band. They're pure artistic geniuses.
Absolutely
💯💯
Fitting whatever mood you’re in and compliments all emotions
One of the best things about life and humanity right here.
Dear Kjartan, you don't know how much Sigur Rós needed you. The band now is in its peak again!
I agree...but..... I was a huge fan of percussionist Orri.... during last nights concert in Edinburgh his input is missed...I understand why he is not there but I can't help feeling the band are just short of being complete.. But it was so good to see Kjarten back....He was missing last time I saw them... Incidentally the album that Kjarten produced while he was solo is gorgeous...
@@Ed30675 I'm with you man.
@@Ed30675 Iyou mean Kjartan's- Der Klang der Offenbarung Das Gottlichen? that album is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever made! I'm happy the boys form Sigur Ros have different outlets for their genius
@@pabloramudo8600 Agreed 💯%....I bought the album after one hearing on UA-cam.. It is amongst my most prized possessions... A truly beautiful work...
I once had to go home right in the middle of Sigur Rós during a festival because my then-girlfriend was tired and wanted to go home. It was the first time I saw them live and they were only just about 3 songs in. I'm not kidding when I say in hindsight that has been one of the key moments where I understood she was absolutely not the one, and worse than that I feel like I've opted out of one of the greatest experiences of my life only to meet her stupid ass unimportant needs.
There's a portuguese lyrich from the composer Rui Veloso that precisely mention your feeling and lesson " You should never love the one that don't love the music you love"
I think this concert changed my life, it was thoroughly magnificent, transcendental.
You're not the only one...
Exactly. The most powerful experience I've felt in my life. You are not the same person after this.

Wow, amazing musica.
@@anorganism8913 Sure is, glad that you like it
Sigur Ros songs are so intimate and immersive that seems it comes from another galaxy.
Well said👌
I saw this performance last Tuesday in Amsterdam……..every note went through my body, every emotion……..happiness, sadness, bliss……thank you, Sigur Rós.
I saw last night in Edinburgh Scotland...I concur with your every word... And I add the word elated by the experience...No one compares with them...
I saw them in Tokyo. It was the best live I've ever seen. Just majestic.
Sigur Ros concerts are always an extraordinary experience, they hypnotize you from the first second till the last second of the gig
what an utterly moving experience. I was lucky to see them in Prague a week later on this tour.
indeed, so intense and emotional
Saw them yesterday in Berlin. Perfect sound, perfect light, perfect set. Amazing to see Sigur Ros again after so much time.
Thanks Thomas, it is a real nice experience! Hope that my video can transmit somehow the experience of being there...
Popplagið is just a masterclass in suspense and release. Incredible.
Indeed, One of the best moments of the concert!
Going to Reykjavik for the first time to attend their concert in November, beyond excited!
Wow, watching them back home in such an amazing country
if you can, explore the country for a bit. you find so much of it in their music. have a good journey and time.
Just had the pleasure of seeing them for the first time last night in Warsaw, transcendental experience, I've burst into tears during Sæglópur, the sound blew me away and shook me to my core, definitely one of the best live shows I've ever experienced, and I've seen my share of shows already.
Thank You, Sigur Rós.
Thanks you Juan!
Thank you for uploading this.
I was in the Monterrey, Mexico, concert. Me and my wife, I was in the darkest place I have ever been, lived the most traumatic event in my life 2 months before the concert (march 2022).
I had already started my therapy sessions but after this concert I can say I recovered 50% of who I used to be, so it helped a lot to get well.
Never in my life, since 2006 when I discovered Sigur Ros I thought I would be in a Sigur Ros concert.
BEST CONCERT FOR MY SOULD IN MY LIFE.
You're welcome! it's really a spiritual thing
I was there and i think it was one of the most beautiful moment in my life.
It was really special! Thanks Alessia
Smaskifa......my ultimate favorite of the whole night in Dallas
Live at Vorst Brussels was breathless.
Takk Sigur Ros.
With all my love ❤️
God the last time I saw them was 2000 supporting Godspeed You! Black Emperor in a church in Bristol
Yes yes yeeeeeessssswhat a magical life time moment was this show. I came all the way from Israel especially for it. Thanks you a lot. Thanks sigur ros for a life changer.
You're welcome Ofir
Astonishing concert. Amazing upload. Thankyou so much for sharing as it has just re-confirmed for me that their concert in Melbourne in August was right up there with the best shows I have ever seen.
And hats off to the crowd…the band would have loved your enthusiasm.
Thanks H&S, glad that you like my video!
This concert was my 5th Sigur Ros live experience, and I always have the same feeling.
Thank you!
Thank you very much, Sigur Ros.
They played here in Dallas some months past and I so wanted to experience them live, but, alas, the ticket prices were too steep.
Watching this connects me in knowing that others will see them live and will be enthralled by this amazingly unique band.
For all the fans
❤
Sorry David that you can't attend, hope this video somehow may fill the loss

Thank you, and it does.
I saw them in Madrid on September 29, then in Oslo (my hometown) on October 20, and now I'm going to London for the November 10 concert! I'm addicted.
This made me smile. I saw them in Washington DC, Glasgow Edinburgh and Dublin and now this is bringing me back to all of those experiences and reading the comments is almost as lovely as all of the conversations I got to have with fans there!
I guess so🙂
What a show. Love it! Thanks so much for the upload.
Not comparable on screen and live. You have to see them live in arena or open air, not in a small room.
The sound was superb, the visuals. People crying or in trance. Amazing!
I definitely want to go if you come to Japan
I saw them for the 3rd time last night in Paris. i went with a friend who is a big fan and told me that he understands the intimacy and emotional journey the songs take you on after he visited Iceland and backpacked through it. I always adapted their music to my own personal emotional voyage through this life but i think visiting Iceland will get me closer to their music. Imagine hiking accross Iceland with this music playing in your headphones
@@damosvas8195I listened to them through headphones hiking to a volcano and am not the same! You have the right idea!!
@@carmieheisler5146 I saw Sigur Ros in an Amphitheater in the south of France in 2012 which was my first time seeing them after listening for 10 years. It seems like the closer I get to their music the more healing / joy / love between humanity is experienced. I need to go to Iceland were the land is created and destroyed to really understand their muzik. Thanks for sharing your experience ⭐🎶
I'm going to see them in 10 days and I'm really excited! I always wanted to hear Sæglópur, Glósóli or Svefn-g-englar live and now I have a chance
After watching my video, now you know what to expect ;) The setlist has been the same for all concerts
Enjoy 😃
Powodzenia ;)
Oh wow.. I didn't realise the set was 2 and a half hours!
I'm in for a treat in Nottingham next month
Yeah, but you have an intermission to get a beer ;)
So glad we are getting a much different set list compared to older performances, I mean, Hoppipola is awesome but there is more to SR than that song, this tour feels much more chilled out, I mean, just look at the songs there! Glad saeglopur is there, as well as glosoli, but super excited to hear Andvari live, this was my fav song on Takk until I heard saeglopur live for the first time, which kinda took over but Andvari is so underrated, so gorgeous, never tire of hearing that and just thrilled to be able to see it performed live in less than 3 weeks time!
Have a nice show then!
Hoppípolla would sound a bit blank without strings and brass. Their recent tour is so much more raw then when they toured last time with an orchestra 2012 / 2013
I was fortunate enough to see them three times in early 2000s. All expereinces are memerizing, and back then they were touring with Amiina. It's almost too spiritual to just be there. The intensity of Popplagio was out of this world. It's just glad to see Kjartan back in the band.
I appreciate you, your phone, your arm holding up for so long, its battery, your perseverance and you sacrificing watching the concert... I was lucky enough to attend Manchester on their first night and it's taken until now to watch this as I was so affected by it. Can't wait until they tour again!
You got everything right and it's very comforting to see someone recognise what's in to it. Anyway , I did it for all the fans out there that couldn't attend the concert, or if they will to somehow bring out some of those memories. Even for myself that didn't enjoy the show as I should, your comment makes my day. 🙏Thanks plankhead72
One of life’s pleasures 🎼😎
😉Indeed
Quero viver eternamente nos últimos 5 minutos deste concerto. Emoção pura. Amor visceral ❤️
Saw them in Sydney in August with this show ... after a foreverlong 5 year wait ... it was beautiful and breathtaking as ever!
(Sydney was an all seated show, which actually worked well for slow but loud :D )
Thank you for the upload of this - wonderful quality!
You're welcome Yule. Glad that you liked it!
Thank you for this post.
You're welcome!
Thank you so much!
You're welcome Casey
I was at the Boston show but had to leave early. So thankful that you uploaded this so I can see the entire performance.
You're welcome VM. Happy that somehow you "can fill the gap" with my video ;)
Obrigada pela partilha ❤️ Foi um grande concerto!
Se foi...
Thanks for uploading. I saw them in Madrid on Sep 29 and it was a great immersive musical experience. An example of the transforming force of music.
Thanks Javier. Well said
I saw them in Chicago earlier in the year and these two set lists are seriously perfection. Thank you for the upload so I can go back and experience it again!
Thanks solitude. Happy to bring you those memories.
I was there too, show was incredible
us too!
WoW, once in a lifetime experience...Thanks for the recording, this is truly hearth touching
The closest I ever got to a concert was several years ago in Seattle on the way to the airport with my late daughter-in-law - saw their name on the Marquee, and so wanted to change our plans...
Tão bom poder reviver tudo isto novamente! Obrigada, muito obrigada!
De nada Lisa. Sempre às ordens ;)
This is so good. I wish I were there.
Love you so much.
🙏Thanks Naomi!
I saw them when they toured ( ) and loved it. Amazed to see six of the songs here in this live show... Still, it is frigging amazing.. Great sound
Thanks Andy
They came to Padua, Italy last month but due to my health limits in standing for long and bear the lights stimulation I could not attend to the concert. I dream one day I will catch the right opportunity. Meanwhile I won't stop to literally love these amazing musical poets. You are balm for the soul.🍀💚
Thanks Berta, I hope that the video somehow may fill that gap
Thanks so much for this upload!!!
I need to see them during 2023. Missed my chance to see them again in 2022. They announced a euro tour so I may be going to Europe this year.
Thank you. I’ve just seen concerts in Glasgow Edinburgh and Dublin and this brings me right back. Best week ever
Glad that you can revive your memories
Watched them in Singapore last year. I was at my lowest and their performance truly helped me recover. This video brings me back to the indescribable feelings from the concert, thank you for sharing this recording!
ps: I would live to be there in special because is" my " country, Portugal . Love you Sigur Rós so much! You have no ideia the inspiration that u gave me every time I do my photography!
Awesome concert! Thanks for sharing! Have a great day
You're welcome. Glad that you like it! Thanks
the best live video yet!
🙏Thanks Franks!
I was there when they performed in Bangkok. Best show ever!
I would love to be there, not just for the concert but also to meet your beautiful country
Thank you for sharing ❤ i saw them a little later in Berlin, i‘ve missed their live shows so much…they are like an addictive therapy! And lucky you, you got Heysátan in the setlist😍

Obrigada!!!
Obrigado
Thanks for sharing, that was very very amazing. I saw this show in Stanford California. I want to say it was only 2 hours hours probably cause of time restraints with the Stanford college. This was a 1/2 hour longer. I love SIGUR ROS. 💜🌈
It's pity that they didn't play the full set
Obrigado por compartilhar!
De nada. às ordens ;)
Definitely in touch
Been wanting to hear Untitled #2 live forever… can’t wait.
what an amazing band ! love it !

What a gift!!!

I saw them in Monterrey, Mexico and represents the first and last concert that my girlfriend and I were together. thank you for such a wonderful show in Mexico. The concert of my life. Thanks for everything

So so so excited to see them in Paris in 4 days!!! For the 7th time

I wish to visit a concert ❤
Munich please ❤
I saw them yesterday in Stockholm. Real mystery!
The mic on a phone does not do them justice. The video is good, the experience is lacking audio clarity on the low end. Thanks for the concert, truly.
Dei comigo a chorar no final, com a pop song.
No doubt, a good heritage of classic New Age - George Wiston ("WINTER"), David Arkenstone, Kostia, Alpha Wave, and of course William Ackerman - plus Efisio Cross. On the other side, excellent one-voice modulated eeeeeeeeextensive meditations within a milimeter of being prayers to Lord Visnu. Fine, but keep the icelandic frozen clounds. You need them.
I'm waiting to see you in Oslo next week 🥰 🎶 🙏
Have a nice show!
Obrigado!
Icelandic incredible tones 🎶🎶👍
As "distorções/som pesado" sempre existiram.
In a few days it's my turn! Yay
Have a nice show. For sure you will
Also this recording proves that it wasn't a dream lol. Somehow I can't clearly remember half of things 😂
I get your point, like someone in trance
Just one amazing, speechless moment of pure B L I S S , Music is an universal language and last night; we were like ancient beings coming from the stars , and we shared something beyond words and deep inside our cells , thank you -
to sad they don't play Ekki múkk anymore. They seem to have shortened the setlist a little bit. Anyway I'm looking forward for their show in Frankfurt
It seem that the setlist is always the same
This show is 4 songs longer than the other sets they've played on this Europe tour, any ideas why? I saw them in Brussels (and am again in London) and it was sublime but man, I neeeeed Ekki Mukk live 😭
Perhaps they starting the tour and having more energy... Or perhaps the like the Portuguese fans better, and they publicly assumed🤔
Is it just me, or "Untitled #3 - Samskeyti" sounds like a George Winston composition? I had never connect these dots, but when this resemblance was pointed to me by a friend recently, I had to agree. Since I love both artists, I considered this comparison a compliment.
Has Sigur Rós ever mentioned George Winston as a musical influence?
