Nabihah Iqbal is a product of the good that these troubled times create. Possessing multifaceted creativity and a rich general culture, she brought an amalgamation of talismans to the stage with her music. Obviously, she will be as great as she wants to be, as she has the talent for it, and her band could not have been better chosen:
Guitar: Aldus Robinson
Drums: Elmo Raves
Bass: Beth O’Lenahan
There were times when I perceived Kae Tempest among these talismans, others when Johnny Marr's guitar, from The Smiths, was striking, and the whole atmosphere filled us with the Cranes. This composition magician is far from the labels of post-punk and similar aphorisms. Iqbal is a carrier of good influences, and if we keep an eye on her, the future will hold good surprises for us.
In the end, it was the autographs, the vinyl records, and the pastéis de nata with hugs, from the kindest person on earth.

The closest I ever got to a concert was several years ago in Seattle on the way to the airport with my late daughter-in-law - saw their name on the Marquee, and so wanted to change our plans...
So glad I found this amazing band. Nicole is fantastic. Can’t imagine seeing them live………

I saw them in Rochester NY of all places. I don't go to many concerts but this one was truly awesome. The music outright, but then hearing Nicole cover all the songs I knew with her own wonderful voice had me melt. Thanks for sharing this, the concert will remain one of my favorite memories of all time.

A truly brilliant and innovative band throughout the 80s and 90s, this is what happens when an unfettered ego is allowed full rein to poison the magic well. (Mac is by all accounts now impossible to collaborate with)

Exactly what I thought. They still have it! I'm surprised Mac still does a lot of singing in the higher ranges, something I noticed f.e. Robert Smith from the Cure (Pinkpop 2019) and The Godfathers' Peter Coyne (Zoetermeer 2023) not reached anymore ( but these bands also continue to perform amazing concerts)
Sure beats the lip syncing rubbish that some big names will try to get away with.

As individuals age, the elasticity of the vocal cords tends to decrease, leading to changes in pitch and the overall quality of the voice. Unfortunately ageing it's irreversible :(
Eu já acho que foi descuido muitos ( cigarros + bebidas). Vou dar somente 1 ex : Jim Reid ( vocal do Jesus and mary chain), o cara soube se cuidar ✌✌ Eu gostou muito do Ian ( e banda )... mas somente pelo que fez no passado , hj em dia sinceramente eu não pagaria para ir a um show deles, Infelizmente ✌
