Honestly, I just in front of my computer, day in and day out, waiting for you to release a vid. I haven't slept in weeks. I think my cat nust be hungry, but she stopped meowing last Tuesday.
I have taken 2 on line classes from Jill Poyerd and both were very helpful in improving my painting. I highly recommended her as an instructor of fine arts.
Your video is beautiful and quite informative. I think I’ll sign up for the class and hope that life circumstances allows me to go through. Thank you, Jill!
I'm glad you enjoyed the trailer. I think you'll really enjoy the class when you're able to get to it. It was an especially relaxing and beneficial class to create.
Legendary 16th hundred sword fighter Miyamoto Musashi is one of the most famous Japanese ink wash painters of all time. He was convinced that only he who could draw a confident brush stroke was truly a swords master. His legacy is "Gorin No Sho" (The book of five rings) in which he describes the three pillars of Nitenki (2 heavens). Strategy, Arts and Tea Ceremony. Worth reading.
Vincent had been nonetheless fascinated by the style as well. In his late (developed and established) masterpieces one can indeed see that. I inked quite a lot with pen and brush, yet there is a lot more to this art as what the eye can see. Great video!

Learning how to stop being tentative with the brush is such a hurdle, good luck with your course!
Absolutely. It's something I think most artists struggle with at times. This class truly helps with that.
