He only said the setup, the punchline would have been something like "7 times" referencing inbred people having extra body parts. The audience were laughing because they saw where it was going.
@@terracottapie this comedian is a fucking legend. Thing is u prob have to be from the uk to undratand IL from americ but love btritish humor been watching for years
from the few clips I watched, Lee often calls out guys in the front row, which have what most people would call a pretty woman at their side and starts making fun of them. that's why he's running over the stage, searching for victims 😊
Normally "on one hand" is used in scenarios where it would be considered a small amount for the amount of time (20 years), but the fact that he was very specific "boring, stereotypical, west country inbred yada yada" changes the meaning, since making 5 jokes within those parameters would be considered a lot.
I've had a crush on Lee because of his humour and I'm 28. I cannot watch Not Going Out it's so cringe. And I really adore him. I think that sitcom is mediocre.
For the live audience it ensures they all get a chance to see him a bit better, rather than him staying in front of one bit of the audience the whole time.
Because he shines best when he can let his wit take over. He's amazingly fast with reactive humor and parlor games, but on stage those don't that big of a place.
Comedy sets are different ball game, I thought the same about Sean lock rip.... amazing on 8 out of 10 cats with his natural reaction humor but wasnt massive on his stand up, that being said search lee mack Irish names, that a great bit
Your all clearly not fans of stand up in general if you don’t find this funny. This is actually more reactive than panel shows, it’s just them and a massive audience, half of which are boozed up and could heckle anytime so they have to be prepared for that. Do you think panel shows are not scripted ?
The camera operator earned their pay following him back and forth across the stage!
Spotlight guy as well... Gabriel Iglasias roasts one for doing a bad job on a slower bigger spot lol!
True, very irritating.
@@ktaragorn in fairness, he needs like 3 spotlights when he's standing still.
Lee hates aling holidays but he does walking tours all the time.
I picked up a Shenton Foreman the other day funnily enough!! Cracking little shed
I’m from Bristol and the West Country bit was amazing
What about the Shenton Forman V8 4K UHD Smart with 38 inch alloys. It's a smashing piece of kit.
Shenton Foreman sounds like a grill I got from the market
The black market
That’s a George foreman, cracking bit of kit
George's fat uncle
I worked at a construction company and the foreman's name was Shenton, so that made him Foreman Shenton.
He’s the best!
Who in their right mind would sit in the FRONT row at a comedy gig?
people who enjoy a laugh know they are watching a comedian?
Wish he'd do another special...p
Am i the only one who checked his playback speed and then slowed it down a notch 😂
Someone explain the last one
Inbred, so probably mutated and got 20 fingers on one hand
He only said the setup, the punchline would have been something like "7 times" referencing inbred people having extra body parts. The audience were laughing because they saw where it was going.
@@tommyoreal So with this comedian, do you generally have to imagine the punchline on your own?
@@terracottapie Usually not, haha
he just didn't finish it because everyone at the time already got it

lol
Couple of jokes he's done before still funny tho
Tough crowd.
I've just accidentally encountered that video and became puzzled. Why are there so many people in the hall?. Are they all gett paid to sit there?
I don't get the last joke and it's driving me crazy. Why is it funny that he can count the number of times he has done that joke on one hand?
i think he's inferring inbreds have more than 2 hands
Because he's talking about inbreds with extra fingers, at least that's how I understood it.
So inbred that he has 20 fingers on one hand?
There’s a joke that inbred people have genetic mutations such as having more than having 10 fingers on one hand

Bring back 'Not Going Out', he's much funnier when he writes with someone else!
not going out hasnt been good for years
To the original comment, I've never read something more wrong in my life.

I like Lee but I wish he didn't walk back and forth so much.
I get worried he'll fall off the stage one of these days the poor thing, might bump some sense into him XD
For the live audience it ensures they all get a chance to see him a bit better, rather than him staying in front of one bit of the audience the whole time.
cocaine is a hellovadrug
I bet Chris Rock wished he had done a bit more ducking and diving on stage
Looks like he learned he art of Stand-up from Stewart Lee's observational comedy bits!
why is Mack hilarious on podcasts he's been on, very quick and sharp... but he's not that funny here?

how and why does this video have interlacing artifacts in 2022
I enjoy Lee, but not a friend of bad language. 💙💙😵💫😵💫

Which shows do you like him on?
