Beware of Ego | Selfishness Disguises Itself As Selflessness | Sathya Sai Baba

- Ask anyone, "Are you relatively more selfish or more selfless?" The answer will mostly tend towards being selfless only. However, selfishness is very subtle and strong and unless we totally overcome Dehabhimana (body attachment), we will not be able to let go of selfishness.
Here is a personal experience when I made a truly selfless prayer. Swami responded to it as well! But then, He responded in a manner that I didn't expect and revealed to me the subtle nature of selfishness.

Wow such a nice thought! We r always thinking about ourselves. Have we ever thought about Swami! Have we ever thought about others!? I am continually aware that man is selfish. We need to cultivate awareness that we are not this body. Then 'me' will be less important and we can focus on cultivating Selflessness as Swami continually shows us. The more we realize this the more we will be like Swami!

The difference between love for Swamy and Swartha is very very thin. We do indulge in this kind of misinterpretation primarily due to ignorance. Nothing to worry. The compassionate lord always teaches lesson lovingly. I have overstepped few times while doing Sai Katha as directed by Beloved lord but Swamy was always there subtly correcting me lovingly without even others noticing. That is our Sai. You not selfish, whenever I was given an opportunity to come to visit India I was at Swami feet , Swami gave me so mu h love, in those days in the 90's I had experienced so much miracle, He used to talk to me while I am walking, in college all the students used to come to me asking me how many Perce t they got, I used to say 70, 80 n really they used to get the percentage
In 2013 I told Swami I am not coming to Party because he is not there u know happened.
I went to Dehli , visited Shirdi baba, went to Ajmer visit Kwaja Gareeb nawaj then went to west Bengal where Shirdi Baba spoke to me ,
Thereafter I was pulled to Puttaparty where u stayed for a week, when I was leave had stroke we t to Saudi .next day went to the drs only to say I had a stroke. Through Baba grace I am cured Sai Ram 🌹

Swami's darshan were liike first darshan gave total of containment to all of us every day at Parthiy but after departure we totally feel dissatisfied as we miss Him a lot... Always had our desire to see to get Him more closure n closure... As He is totally premaswarupa..Deep obligation at that lotus feet that given us a lot which i specially didn't deserve. Once @gain thank u Brother Arvind for such a nice explanation o.f the demonic quality (selfish) in us But I think u being having soft heart u can think rest for swami but he (bhagwan)never takes rest becoz like Krishna he always be hurry to protect or to give darshan to anyone and anywhere in the world.
When people say they miss Swami. Perhaps they miss viewing his beautiful physical form. But do these devotees not realize that for the very first time a poorna avatar is very much present in his subtle form . For the first time an avatar has yielded to our pleas and not abandoned us. Testimony to this has been amply provided by Smt Chandra Sodha in London, Sai geetanjali etc. Where swami still reigns Supreme. As the Supreme being that he truly is

I often asked myself if God ever needs rest?
Does Love needs rest?
We should hurry to fill our mindfs with love only. No need for 'me-time' after that,I think.
And if our bodies than still need to repose,we can lay them to rest once in a while...
