I use to be a custom leather watch strap builder. I give big props to you young man you gave out some great info, even I learned a lot from your vid and yes I hit the like the button and scribed. Just keep going.
Now I guess I don’t have to ask you what everything does when I’m in the workshop anymore 🤷🏼♂️
Quiz next time you are over.
I'm no leathercrafter, but i like when somebody makes cool stuff with their hands.🤗
I am one of those who love to keep trying new things in their diy projects. My latest love is leather leashes and card holders. A huge thanks for your guide on the tools. God Bless 🙏
I was debating a Palosanto knife because I don't use it enough to warrant spending double on a Chartermade. I have a 3 year old Nobuyoshi and just want a new one that does the job. Not too many reviews on them so thanks for this. I also have mostly Palosanto tools and I can't imagine the knife being anything less than the quality of the others.
You are welcome1
Gotta spend some money to gain some. You get what you pay for! Great job man
I‘m a lefthand and n my eyes you need both left & right blade scissors like in plumper work the use left & right scissors & me too 😉
Palisanto real dope company the best of there tools are the high quality & you can change the blades!… soooo dope
You are doing a great job sir .i randomly saw the channel and subscribed it😊😊😍
Heck yea, thank you!
Very valuable!! Keep this video.. There will always be someone starting to learn...
I know this didn't perform nearly as well as any of your shorts but I really appreciate you making this. Would be awesome if you did more instructional vids.
Absolutely love this!!! I started working with leather myself a couple of years ago and I have absolutely loved it but I’m still finding my way and this is honestly the most informative video I’ve watched to date! (I’ve watched a lot!) I would also strongly agree with the choice of tools that you have upgraded to. I wish you all the best with your channel and your craft! 👍🏼
So encouraging! Thank you so much for sharing and best of luck to you!! God bless!
Great video! I was looking for a tutorial like this and I couldn't ask for more 😁 thanks
Thank you so much for this. I got everything from this video! Leather craft is so fun! I’m so glad i found your channel. I’ve made multiple wallets bracelets etc… it’s very fun! Thanks again!
Great, informative video! Exactly what I was looking for before investing in leather crafting tools & supplies!
Excellent! thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I'm just starting and have made a bunch of stuff that some people say I should sell. Eight months ago I was just doing it as a hobby at first because of COVID. Now I have a box of scrap leather and a box of finished products from wallets to key fobs and belt pouches. I do need to sell some stuff so I can buy nicer leather because I'm on a fixed income.
Wow, your view and subscription buying game is on point!
Thank you for this video
Of course.
Excellent and insightful video. I noticed the same difference you did with your edge beveler. It’ll be next on the list. 👍🏼Made a lot of great points, looking forward to future vids.

Quick question ... when buying sinabroks stitching punch (2 prong and 5 prong) what do you recommend in hole size and spacing (when making small accessories).
hole: 1.2, 1.5, 2.0 mm
SPACE: 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 mm
Help!
This is what I want to learn.
This is a great video
Could you please make a video where you craft a holster? Would be great! Great job and great videos anyway! Keep it on!
can you please show us how you make your crafting video next ?? thing's like camera placement etc .
love your work btw
What size / spacing of hole punch are you using? Looking to grab mine soon!
The cheap Chinese Japanese-style knife is good for building confidence in sharpening.
Hi Morris,
First of all, thank you so much for your great tools introduction; Second, I'm new to this hobby and interested in getting skills daily. So I watch UA-cam every day to get what I'm looking for. In a part of this video, I saw you use a polyester thread to stitch your wallet project. I couldn't find it like that so far. Could you please give me a link or every brand and thickness? I appreciate you in advance.
Want to get into leather crafting so this is an amazing video. Thanks man. Keep it up and keep making awesome products
I want to buy a set of that from you. I live in Vietnam. Thank you very much!
A few years back I found a large and thick section of rubber beside the highway that is about half an inch thick that works for a pound-o mat. Where are those brass handled punches sold at and by whom are they made. I cannot find them on Amazon and I am not sure where to look elsewhere on the net.
Where do you recommend buying leather to get started?
😍😍😍😍
What kind of thread/thickness do you use? Polyester, leather thread? Great info thanks love your vids just started watching you on recommends✨💎💫
Thank you! We use bonded nylon. It’s called Vinymo.
what size sinabroks hole punch do you use??
What sewing machine do you use. maybe a more advanced tool video for people trying to go from hobby to business. thanks for the info
Saddle stitching is the main crafting skill. Sewing machines look cheap..
It's the punisher for leather. I know, I know he just looks like the punishers cousine. Lol.
What is the name of the grinder you use? Dear friend, thank you so much for everything you do!
What you use to cut off corners?
What about the brand printing metals you are using? How/where to get them?
What leather would you recommend for bifold wallets and what’s the best website to go to to buy a hide?
Hey Schumacher!
I'm new here and was wondering where I could get a hand press that's in the background over your left shoulder
Do you recommend a good way to sharpen the edge beveller as the blade in them is too hard to reach with regular stropping.
Enjoyed the video!
In case you haven't found an answer to your question..
You use a piece of sandpaper preferably the finer grit, the better. And using a small metal rod(a stitching needle works well for this) while holding the sandpaper over the needle drag ur edge beveler across the top of the needle. In the OPPOSITE direction that you would normally bevel towards. You can then use a piece of thick paper with jewelers rouge applied to it and repeat the process to essentially hone the beveler to ur desired sharpness.
My process for really dull edge bevelers is:
400 grit > 2000 grit > white rouge on paper > then finish with a few strops on the corner of a thick piece of leather
If my beveler Is kinda sharp but just needs a light honing I do the same process but start either at 2000 grit or the paper with rouge.
Hope this helps friend.
the main reason I looked for this was for the glue
For your edge beveled do you have a #1 or 1.0mm?
Beveler**

Assalamu alaykum. Could you teach me your profession
Hi I am from India if I want a custom wallet can you make it
Use underscore on before A and after P
Can you teach me my profession?
nice.. i should try and get a wallet from you :)
Stitching pony
That bass backing track is really out of time and it's hard for me to not focus on it.
For new people, a pricking iron is not for punching holes, it is for marking where you are going to use a single hole punch. As a beginner I suggest you get a set of multiprong stitching chisels.
What kind of leather sewing machine do you use?
