I remember the C5R being a phenomenal car. I won it pretty early on, so it was called on quite a bit for my early endurance races and professional races. Some strong picks in amongst the list here too!
Yo Nismonath! Glad to see you show up on my channel! And yeah the Vette is a fantastic all rounder. Perfect rival to the GTS-R. As I said in the CLK section, it's one of my favourite things about the game.
I just got into playing this for the first time, hooked up the old ps2 & man… those license tests are so hard! But I do love the game, satisfyingly addicting & building up the garage. Great personal list btw! 😊
I haven't seen a ton of people talk about this, but in GT3 you can tune the Mitsubishi 3000GT to a little over a thousand horsepower. I found this out as a kid and it became my main car. It's an absolute giant killer
This was one of the first games I have ever played. It is in my top 3 for sure. I remember saving up enough to buy the Dodge Viper GTS. That thing is a freaking cheat code of a car early game. Going from 400hp to over 800hp in one engine upgrade is just insane.
I used to call the 787B "the clown barchetta" because of the quite excentric livery and because most Le Man prototypes are called bachettas where i live as a "body type". I deeply hated it until i learned about it because it would always beat me in arcade with the Team Oreca, can't ask much from a 4 year old XD.
One of my surprises in GT3 was the TVR Tuscan, great handling and great muscle car feeling (also very easy on the tires). Previously I never cared much about TVR's which were having the rep of trying to kill you and looking like it was made of spare parts but this completely won me over. My least liked car of GT3 is perhaps the Lotus Elise Sports, no matter what I tried, no setup would ever make it not drive like it's on ice. I also don't like racing the F1 cars, mainly because you don't have tire options.
I had an easier time gravitating towards TVR as a GT1 vet, and the Tuscan is one of my favourite models from the brand. Fun fact, the Tuscan is the only car you need to win in GT2 for a one make race, but also one of only 2 cars you need to buy in GT3 if you're primarily using prize cars. I find that hilarious. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Elise either, it seems to have a fetish with the curbs. It's either that or the Audi TT for my least favorite car in the game. It does suck that you can't change tires for F1 cars, but they're still much faster than any other car and I find them fun to use.
@@Driff97 Yeah I only found out the Tuscan after I almost completed the game as I wanted to use only cars I won in the game but the Tuscan I had to buy in order to complete the race challenges.
My favorite VW special has to be the mk.2 Golf G60 Syncro Limited. It was the fastest production Golf for around 12 years before the R32 came out It was a FAST hatchback for its time, capable of doing a 0-100 run in around 6.7 seconds, and had a top speed of around 230 km/h. There was nothing like it back in 1989, when it got introduced. Unlike the regular G60, which was powered by the 1.8 liter 8-valve GTI engine, the Limited came with the 16-valve engine from the GTI 16v, with a supercharger attached to it, upping the horsepower from 138 to 210. The regular G60 had 160 HP in comparison. It was a very special model, with only 71 cars being made, and most were sold to VW employees at the time. - Not to mention, it was also 4-wheel drive, which was very rare for a Golf back then.
no respect for the (best car) r390 gt1.. I admit the xsara is pretty cool, (honestly any french rally car is amazing) and if you don't like it as a rally car just think of it as a cup car gt3 is the last game in which I absolutely adore the escudo, in the following gran turismo games I still of course love it but there are other cars I love even more (and no wheelie with it anymore :/)

The pink Yaris was definitely my favorite
"Ew! It's PINK!"
The viper is my favorite car of all time too! So much so that I finally bought a real one!
Awesome stuff

Love the wheelie glitch/unlimited speed hack. The unrendered under carriage abyss of GT3 brings back memories...
aston martin vanquish is the best sounding car in this game.
