I was born in 76 I first heard "This Means War" & "Minefield" in the early 90's and was instantly hooked. Learnt your play guitar and the War and Rememberance songbook became an extension of my arm. Petra was and still us one of my favorite bands of all time.
I LOVE this. I'm Eastern Orthodox and like to play this at Pascha (Easter) since this is pretty much is what is in the Pascha Canon. (verses sung at Matins on Pascha). I get a shiver of awe every time I hear it. Well-done Petra!

The rock music format only serves to amplify the forcefulness of the message, It's like a victory cry. It symbolizes what I want my Christian life to be all about. I want to proclaim and rejoice in Christ's death and resurrection forever, for He truly is the conqueror over death and hell, and He truly is alive and intercedes for us today!
