    Just goes to prove that photography learning takes time, unlike the hundreds of youth videos out there currently that either dont show anything or are completely useless and know NOTHING about photography, so well done sir for taking the time to show the BEST way.

      @@jimgsewell i use savage translum medium weight and I find it to be too soft, I don't have the budget to test every single one version out there, some lee diffusion filters look good but hard to tell without actually testing them out

      @@areusirius2054 I understand, I have a limited budget too. I have a roll of savage translum heavyweight and it is much heavier than what he is using. I have yet to try any of the lighter weight. It will be interesting to see what he says. I butted in on your comment, so that I'll get notified when he answers. 😁

      The diffusion material was Lee 216. You could use 110 micron drafting film to get almost the same result.

    Can you please explain- why a 24-70 not a 90mm macro 2.8? Anyway we are working close to 50mm, then why not a 50mm prime. If it is a stupid elementary question - that’s because I am new here!

    • @CameraClubLive
      @CameraClubLive  Рік тому

      A 24-70 is a common lens most people may have, I'm demonstrating what can be done with a common lens.
      Hope that helps.

    I really like your videos, but I don't have or can afford studio lighting, therefore are there any videos that show how you can achieve some of these images with just a Speedlight or two?

    • @CameraClubLive
      @CameraClubLive  Рік тому

      Yes, most small table top photography can be done with a Speedlight as you don't need a great deal of energy.
      Follow the link for a video showing how to do it with gust a torch and a plastic bag. ua-cam.com/video/7N1gHcPLxUc/v-deo.html
