As I come from Europe with my bike it's hopefully saver to catch just the flight from Hanoi back and not a flight in Vietnam aswell. Cause I booked the flight from Europe to Hanoi some months ago and added the flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh later. No reason because of the route, just because of weather in January and flights. Have fun!!!

This brought back so many memories from my own bicycle tours (although mine were in a different place) plus you introduced me to Vietnam which looks like a fantastic place to tour. I always thought of climbing hills like filling a battery so that once you reach the top it's fully charged for a fast, fast, fast descent down the other side. Thanks for sharing!
@@Karamintheworld My biggest tours were a 5 year quest to bicycle around all five of the North American great lakes (one per year). Of those five going around Lake Superior was my favourite (37 days total, 35 riding days, 120 km / day average)

@@Karamintheworld that's a great idea. When we did our tour in B.C. we just traveled really slow and mostly on backroads, about 20 km per day. Zora was super fit at the time so she trotted the whole way.

Thanks Irving Pirving lol always so supportive ❤️ The homestays were not planned, usually we aim to go in a general direction or a town in the morning, then when we stop for lunch we look at accommodations cause then we have a better idea if we'd make it to our goal or not. You do pay, basically allows the family to make money and provide tourists with an awesome experience.

Travel creating solo is difficult and there are times where meeting up with others just adds the missing piece. Do you have major travel or creative plans for this upcoming year??
