5:11 "I'll catch ya" Those words were a flash back. Back in the 90's when I was a brand new climber, I ventured out the the Howard's Knob boulders one afternoon. I tired a new problem and got in a little over my head literally and figuratively. From a height of about 10-15 feet, I pitched off the rock. My spotter, a guy previously unknown to me, caught me mid fall. He set me back on terra firma as lightly as a feather falling back to Earth. It was my first time meeting Joey Henson. He asked me how long I'd been climbing and I replied "Only a few weeks." He was so supportive and encouraging. "Move your hand over just a few inches and you'll nail it." I did and he was right. Exactly the same person as you see in this film....
nice video! i found it really refreshing that the video focused on other aspects than top grades, especially since they had taylro mcneill, one of the strongest boulderers in the world, right there for them to capture. thank you!
I love this video! I could watch it over and over. I really like that one song that is played around minute 7:00. I have looked for it, but I guess my google fu is not working. I assume it is by Heartscape Landbreak, but I can't locate it.
Thank you! Yes it is by Heartscape Landbreak, its the second half of the track "inner ghost" from the album This Day Rolls Away heartscapelandbreak.bandcamp.com/album/this-day-rolls-away

W O W ! ! ! !
Really one of the best Climbing Films since a long time. Just so quiet and beautifull - love it.
A gorgeous video about our sport! You can feel the passion through the screen.
This is one of the sweetest, truest climbing films I’ve seen in a long time. ❤️
This man is a legend. He let us stay with him for a week in his barn on a whim for free
Beautiful film! What an inspiration Joey!
this needs so many more views, this is amazing

great film, those woods seem therapeutic
Been dealing with long covid for a few months. Didn't feel it at all when I stayed with Joey.
Wow! I grew up near the Boone/Morgangton area and always saw those maps around but never knew who was making them. Truly cool to hear their story. 👏
Beautiful piece - thank you!
This is a lovely climbing film. I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the editing, color and music. Well done Andrew, Carlo, Cooper and team.
Fantastic! Sandstone particularly is inspiring.... sandstone, oak, beech and riverbeds. Very beautiful insight
having started climbing in the gorge, this is the most incredible view I've seen of it
Fantastic!
Nice Joey! Ty here your friend from high school. Glad you kept at both arts. Been a long time and this is awesome. Captured your spirit
