The Tour is extremely grueling ( travel in vastly different time zones, playing different surfaces, the relentless grind, injuries, etc) . While its great to have "resources", the tennis courts all over Florida and California are littered with kids with "resources" that didn't make it because they didn't have the dedication or talent. Emma's father Ben is a hard working man who is a self made billionaire. I live in Charleston and Ben is also a philanthropist. He's built 2 large tennis facilities here, one I can walk to and the other is 10 minutes away that contains the stadium where the Charleston Open is played.
