If resources/money is major thing, how many kids of billionaires are participating in sports?
Important thing is passion, dedication, training, hard work, fitness, health mentally and physically.
    Appreciate her hard work!

She had the money in her household B4 she was hitting the big time. A lot of these pros in other American sports for ex..., get extremely rich after they play and can't handle it. More hopeful she'll stay at the best level for many years to come.

Emma and Jessica should actually be given much more credit for having rich parents. The Tour is extremely grueling ( travel in vastly different time zones, playing different surfaces, the relentless grind, injuries, etc) . They could easily have just given up early and just went back and rested on their family wealth. Their motivation, desire to win and tremendous work ethic is to be commended

@@juismac the Media will hardly ever NOT jump on a chance to disparage successful people. Britney Spears for example. They take from the successful bc they feel sorry for the unsuccessful. Sounds like politics! Bc it is political. Over 90% of all journalists are Socialist minded bigots.

I was waiting for the question regarding her dislike of Zheng. But again she really doesn't answer it with specifics. She disrespects me and the sport. You make a comment like that you need to back it up with something. Did she say something to you, did she do something to you? It's really not fair to talk about a player like that without some examples. I even heard some broadcasters bash Zheng purely based on what Emma said. Still sounds like sour grapes for losing at the olympics. I bet those comments aren't said if she won.

To get to where Pegula and Navarro are at, it takes an amazing amount of hard work and dedication in addition to the talent. While its great to have "resources", the tennis courts all over Florida and California are littered with kids with "resources" that didn't make it because they didn't have the dedication or talent. Emma's father Ben is a hard working man who is a self made billionaire. I live in Charleston and Ben is also a philanthropist. He's built 2 large tennis facilities here, one I can walk to and the other is 10 minutes away that contains the stadium where the Charleston Open is played.

@@franciscoarzaga4384 So you think you have to have money to be successful in tennis? Seriously? How rich were Coco, or Sabalenka. or Swiatek or Rybakina or the Williams sisters? Closer to dirt poor than billionaires or millionaires. They all have something money can't buy, talent, a work ethic, people to teach them and believe in them. Yeah, having the money is nice, but there is no relationship between how much money your parents have and how successful you will be on a tennis court. Having money gives you the illusion that you can buy success, but billions have been wasted trying.

It's a big disadvantage coming from a hugely wealthy family. You just don't
have to put in the work, if your not in the mood, and grind it out. If you look
at past champions, like Steffi Graff, Monica Seles, Williams sisters, Sharapova,
they were all from very poor backgrounds. This desire to have a better life is
what drives them. I can't think of any multiple grand slam champs that came
from a wealthy family. Can't even think of one. Money won't make you a
champion, but grit, will, and the desire to win -- will.

She didn’t have to spend hours every day practicing since she was 8 and lots of traveling staying in hotels sitting in ice baths after every match, etc. She could have gotton a job in her father’s company.
