In my opinion, I think puzzlevision was the one to actually start to arcs from western spaghetti to now. One shot wren on his backstory got a letter with his logo, then he printed smg3s notebook in Marty's food cart-

That's not an opinion. Because Mr. Puzzles WAS the one to get Wren in that simulation.
My 2 take on the theory i made: Mario will be brainwashed by puzzlevision because of what i mentioned in the past video, OR Mario could find a way to free Tari. The weirdest part of this is that Tari isn't part in the mario's mysterys episode and this one(not even an aparition like meggy). Seems like puzzlevision noticed Tari's Skills in the Western spaguetti movie and put clench to make sure she cannot do anything. So Mario(or other character like smg3 could potentially escape). I do think Mario could be the one because not only he already has experience of simulations(check out smg4:Uncanny Mario) but he is the avatar(special power). In summary he could transform into a villian, a hero or someone important. Or they could just make him a
side character again like in the Western spaguetti movie

Think about it. 5 shows. 5 characters. Luke, James, Bob, Meggy, and Tari. Mario is just a sidekick for puzzlevision. Noticed how he appeared in this episode and the last one?
hmm sidekick...no way he will be the one to defeat mr puzzles bcs its always the sidekicks that beats the villians

My theory is that while they are mind controlled to not know they are stuck in what I assume to be a better version of the simulation Wren put them in they can see through the simulation under certain conditions. The more they start to question the world around them and more specifically why they are doing what they are doing the more they realize that something is wrong and by some point they regain awareness only for Puzzle’s to force them back to square one. The most effective way to get them to start questioning their actions is to make them act out of character. For example SMG3 spent the entire episode doing things very out of character for him, he sought to live a life relying on someone else’s wealth (he likes money but would want to have that all for himself) and also acting very feminine despite him IRL (the SMG4 version of IRL not our version) constantly trying to present a facade of masculinity.
Now this is likely to be Puzzle’s downfall, the community posts by SMG4 shows him obsessing over ratings and that will push him to create better and better content. In trying to make a better story he will force the characters to act more and more different from how they usually act and make them do things that they usually would never do on their own. This will lead to them breaking out one by one until he can no longer fix them which will lead to the final battle.
