Thanks for the comment Mohit. In my case I was able to just walk-in with the 221-G and drop the documents they asked for. I did it the same day I got a 221-G coz they asked for a photo the first time and I-797 copy the second time. They gave me 3-4 hr to come back and drop it the same day. You can also try that.
Thank you for your for the good work you are doing ,its really supportive I had my visa interview today at the US EMBASSY LONDON and the visa officer told me he only need to do uk home office check on me and he is going to email me back between 7-14working day and gave me 221g that I should not worry that I will only need to send my passport back for the visa, Please I am just asking if this is a good course or not sir, please do respond 🙏

Just as a fellow immigrant, I do not see any issues with your Visa case and it seems normal. That said, if you have any questions you can email your US embassy in London and follow their guidelines. Hi Dhrubo619, I got an email that my passport is ready for pickup. When I arrived for pickup, they gave me the passport back along with the 221G receipt. Then, I resubmitted with the new photographs the same day. They give you a window of couple of hours to re-submit the same day.

Hi Himanshu, thanks for the clear explanation.I attended the h1 interview in the Chennai consulate 2 days back along with h4 dependants(wife + 2 kids). as i m selected by an employer to work in his location in Houston and the client is not decided yet, i couldn't provide the client letter when sought by VO. no 221g form given to me and passport is given back, but told to wait for an admin process orally and asked me to keep an eye on email inbox. once the case is positive you need to provide your passports is what said to me.....is it normal?

Hi Preetham, i would follow the instructions provided by the consulate in the email. You can also reach to support helpline number or email I mentioned in the video. You can speak to them over the phone and ask for how to submit the passport. It should be fine.

Hello sir my b1/b2 visa interview is on 20jan in k.s.a after interview officer approved my visa and kept my passport when I checked my visa status was approved but not issued after 3mounths my visa status was changed from approved to refused on25 April i received email they need additional information i submitted then another email fill up ds5535 form i submit but on 1 jun they return my passport with pink slip 221g that your visa is refused for Administrative process you need to wait no additional information needed dates are changing 4 times last update on 16 November status was changed from refused to Administrative process almost i m waiting 10 months ago i will get visa? who long it will take?

When I got mine they ticked passport but they had my passport so it was all a bit confusing , long history short They thought I wanted to travel in 2023 and cos my visa was only for 3 month they did not issue the visa and sent The 221g instead .
If consulate pass 221g, will they keep our passport or they will handover the passport to us during our visa interview? ..can anyone please update on this process...
In my case I had a dropbox, so after the 221G the passport was returned from the embassy, and then I dropped it again at the VAC with the documents which were asked. I didn’t have to take another dropbox appointment, I just submitted the documents the day I collected the passport.
Ajit , can you please share copy of your resource or links or stories for the audience? It will be very helpful if it is at all true. My doubts arise because the company I work for is well known, maybe I am wrong but if you have any incidents that shares credibility that will help.@@arjitshrivastava5017

When they gave 221g to you ? Are they give during your visa interview itself or later ? ..can you please update me on this process
