Finally Metroline Extension Opening Day First Train Chatswood Towards Sydenham Part 1 - 19th Aug 24

Dulcineasdiarycontinued - In order to not miss the first train coming from Tallawong to Sydenham , I did a powerwalk from where I lived to Chatswood in the dark leaving around 4.30 am in time for the 5.16 am arrival at Chatswood Station. I arrived just in time. The first bus to Chatswood would not have got me to Chatswood in time to connect with the first Metro train as there is no public transport before 5 am , I had to walk. Apologies for the puffing in this first video. The normal trains in both direction started running earlier.
