@@enriqueu1319 The black only has 2 seasons and that's it. Highly doubt mei is coming back unless we get a sequel to the black that involves her. As long as Greg Johnson and Craig Kyle are the writers I doubt they'll kill her off for no stupid reasons
Set in the same universe as the first movie and after an alternate version of events from Pacific Rim: Uprising, a race of monsters called Kaiju arise from the Pacific Rim and overrun the continent of Australia. Humans build gigantic armed robots, Jaegers, to fight back, but fail and the continent is abandoned leaving only isolated pockets of survivors. Teenage siblings Hayley and Taylor Travis are left behind by their parents who leave to combat the Kaiju but never return. Five years later, Hayley stumbles across a long-abandoned training Jaeger called Atlas Destroyer which she and Taylor activate and set out on a quest to find their parents. They not only have to deal with marauding Kaiju, but other survivors who are also fighting for survival and attempt to seize Atlas Destroyer themselves.
Pacific Rim: The Black follows siblings Hayley and Taylor, who learn to pilot an abandoned Jaeger in a post-apocalyptic Australia overwhelmed by the Kaiju. Originally set for a 2020 release, before it was pushed back to 2021. The series was greenlit for two seasons. The first season debuted March 4, 2021
Looks good. Story sucked ass. Siblings protecting a "boy" transforming kaju and a wanna be Motoko ghost in the shell taging along in a giant Robot. While escaping to Australia base. Call the Albion get the Gundam GP01 for backup while at to why not... If a future season is planned do a time skipped where the siblings are grown up get there own robots and new partners. Write off the existing that survived.
S2 was the final season. I highly doubt you actually sat down and watched the season if you gave out such a exaggerated description of the series itself
@@Kaiju-bm4ts I did watch the final season just didn't do it for me. The whole time I was expecting a bigger enemy. Was expecting a mass meator invasion with a Army of Kaiju and have Yeagers fighting side by side.... nope...
@@falco178 You do realize this series is NOT trying to copy the movies right?. Guillermo wanted his sequel to be DIFFERENT from the first one so the audience don't get the feeling they are watching the same movie twice. Uprising did exactly what Guillermo didn't want while simultaneously being too different from the first film which is why uprising failed. This series aimed to be darker and more grounded which is more similar to the first film while simultaneously being different in it's own way by focusing on the aspects of humanity losing the war and trying to survive in Australia as opposed to humanity nearly losing worldwide only to win by pure luck like the 2 movies did. The anime is more in line with what Guillermo wanted for a sequel. Hating the story for being different yet familiar is like hating any godzilla reboot for being different while being familiar.
Mei looks great in a pilot suit.
Mei is the best female character in this franchise since mako. Prove me wrong.
Just lets hope that the producters do t k1ll her unceremonially in the next season/sequel like Mako

I agree
Ur not wrong.
This show is a MASTERPIECE!!
I was heart broken when taylor and Mei never got together. Probably because they didn't have enough time for the show.
Looks cool
Looks actually good!

Nice backstory for me and Taylor
Umm?
AY, ARE YOU TWO REAL?!
It is the same universe not an alternate.

Choose your side Jaeger or Kaiju
I just hate a sad ending. 😢
I am so glad we have Goat Amv to provide the context for this show. Lots of newbs wouldn’t get it so quickly.
Are they drifted eith the kaiju brain or something
What was the name of that kaiju delivering the sister to stun Atlas?is it The breacher?
Samus aran ?
?Mei?
