Everything is great in this video, I would know because I live there. They have included so much wonderful stuff that Pittsburgh has to offer. Another great place I recommend in Pittsburgh is Kennywood too.
I think you convinced me not only to visit, but to live here! This seems to be the only city that isn't trying too hard, it is what it is, and that's appealing enough! Hope that makes sense.
Omg wow! I suppose congratulations are in order. The way you put it makes perfect sense. We kept saying there is something about the personality of this place, and I think you nailed it. They aren't trying hard to be superficial. Very small town vibes for a big city
It was surprisingly a fun city. I only say surprisingly because it has such a reputation of a blue collar, nose in the dirt place that I didn't expect it to be a lively.
culture? absolutely not! I've been here almost 10 years, culture wear...white culture. thats about it.. if anything this city needs MORE culture....i get a lot of racist vibes here
Another great Pittsburgh video from you. while vacationing there last week I visited the Incline. I had no idea there was a museum below. I would love to have seen the working mechanics. Can't beat the view. My favorite museum was the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. This place is HUGE! Favorite bridge is the Hot Metal Bridge on the South Side. And a train still crosses, as do cars & people. River Walk on the South Side isa picturesque & relaxing for a dog walk, jog, or stroll. There are several stanchions along the way to read about the city's foundry past, that once stood on the South Side.
Sounds like you explored the Southside pretty hard. Wish we had more time to do the same. I did want to see the Carnegie museum if for nothing else to see the dinosaur exhibit, but we were both pretty burnt out from seeing museums
Thank you! Definitely underrated. It's nestled up against the hills so it's really gorgeous and we loved all the quirkiness and personality the city has
Great job! I live here and really enjoyed. I would suggest to people visiting to check out the smaller neighborhoods. It’s really fun to walk around squirrel hill, Lawrenceville, and shadyside. Lots of good food.
Thank you! The best spots I flew from were point of view park which is over mt Washington. Best view of the skyline and the incline is right below, Millvale riverfront was good too. It's right between the bridges.
we drove up so can't really speak to public transit unfortunately . From our experience, it wasn't very walkable unless you hang out by the downtown area. We crossed at least 4 of those 446 bridges. I'd say have a plan of places you want to stop and hit all those places before moving on to another area. Pittsburgh is kind of like a big mountain town. Lots of hills once you get past the city center
It's mostly random. Starts off thinking where can we go that's relatively close. Then we start looking into the weird stuff about the place, because why not? I'm excited for when we can start doing this internationally
Thank you so much. Great timing as looking to take a poor folks weekend trip, live in the Yotown... Love checking street art out, small biz w incense, oils, record stores, dive bars w good food too frequent w my 11yr old...love suggestions & Mattress Factory been on my itinerary for ages. Free stuff 2 do always best!
You guys ought to have a great time. If you make it over to the bicycle music and decide to go to the music store, let us know how it was. We wanted to check it out but it was closed.
Lmao she got me good. I knew she was up to something too. she's so lucky she isn't into sports. I'm going to wear a team Jacob shirt or something next time we're in Washington
Whoa the view from the incline is so cool, I didn't even know that existed. You two found some very interesting spots in Pittsburgh in this episode 🙌 Woof..wolf 🐺😆 Ahh..the ET bike?!?! 🚲 So cool.
been living here now 9 yrs coming up in november. Honestly I regret it, sure it was very nice and exciting the first few times I visited before making it permanent . Yes there's plenty opportunity, history and beauty but thats about it. People here are either weirdos or assholes, police are crap and although it doesn't look it or may not even appear to be...its pretty racist here. But thats just my outlook from my experience. Looking to leave within a year
I am from there, born and raised, and there are absolutely no opportunity there. I left many years ago, still visit family from time to time but glad I got the hell out! Also, the crime is atrocious!
@@FG-xc5qj Crime in Pittsburgh is no where near as bad as places like Chicago or Cleveland, Detroit, St.Louis Baltimore or other crap hole cities as far as cities Pittsburgh is good as it gets. I'm currently in Seattle this place sucks ass.
Hadn't really realized the amount of dinosaur appearance that happened in this video. FYI whenever we make it to Hawaii we're doing the Jurassic Park safari. Been on my bucket list for forever

Wait till you have to go through the tunnels. Then you’ll move out
I went to College back in '82 and lived there for a year and loved it, I call Pittsburgh my Second City
It was surprisingly a fun city. I only say surprisingly because it has such a reputation of a blue collar, nose in the dirt place that I didn't expect it to be a lively.
Omg, this place is so rich in culture and my favorite is “ it's so vibrant and colorful! I want to visit! Another great video!!
Thanks! Sara likes to say it is lush. It just had so much personality for a pretty industrial city

@@tgarland5138 dude, you ever been to Denver? No culture there. Pittsburgh is a mecca of culture in comparison (but Denver is more diverse than PGH)
Glad to see some Steel City coverage finally. It's a dope city.!
It really is and we only scratched the surface. The one thing we keep coming back to is how much character it has. Big city with small town charm.

Love your video and the music is 🔥!!

Do the birds fly around freely or is there some sort of divide between them and us humans? lol
I might be moving to Pittsburgh for a job
Very nice. Hopefully congratulations are in order!
