HAHAH! I laughed out loud when you scared yourself in the mirror. I've done the same thing. Wow, what a beautiful and huge house! I lost count of the number of bedrooms! 26:35 oh would I love to have that mannequin! I've been looking for one like that for years! Thanks for the tour!
The very back room (connected by the enclosed breezeway) was the original kitchen and the stairs would have been for the servant's quarters over the kitchen. Wonderful house!
How can such a house this fabulous be left? It's truly beautiful, I've put this one right at the top of my fave list. Thanks Kappy, you've made my day.❤❤❤
The house was amazing. How can anyone leave those antiques behind. Such a waste. It's really built different. I wonder what happened to the family. Great video. Thank you Kappy.❤
Definitely a huge home. And beautiful, too. Lots of memories! The rooms were all massive. I get the creepies seeing old wheelchairs. I bet the basement was where the horse groomers and tack room was. Can't believe there was a newspaper dated to 1927.
Fabulous house! I’m thinking that the metal roof helped save the bones of it. If I had lots of money to restore it and if I could insulate it well, omg, I’d love to! That vintage wheelchair was something. I’m thinking that the basement did house horses at one point- it looked like there may have been a large door that was altered to be a wall. Thank you for looking up dates on the written materials and for the history on the house!
Absolutely amazing Kappy!! It’s beautiful! But, the wheel chair is incredibly sad. Just like the house, the owners grew old and then went on. Only the house remains of their life and history. Thanks so much Kappy. You’re the best. 😊
I love this place. A masterpiece! I bet it has a secret room or passageway somewhere. Even the attic was charming in its day. Thank you, Kappy! I hope this one got saved…🤞
That’s a jack n Jill bathroom, probably connected kids rooms- look at the rug under the vintage wheelchair! This whole place is just extraordinary!!! I’ll be watching this one twice! Thank you for powering thru that cold to document this place!!!
Kappy thanks for showing this beautiful home. It's totally gorgeous. You know it was awesome in its day. So sad it's left to rot. I always enjoy joy your videos. Thank you.
As a lifetime lover of horses and training them and riders, I sensed the love of those thoroughbreds and the family. What a great home for both people and animals!
I can't remember back in the 60s and 70s several houses of my friends did not have overhead lights. When you turn the wall switch it turned on a lamp. I think this was considered trendy.
Wow! This is a house! This goes on for miles, and how beautiful it is! We’re there outbuildings or are they all gone by now? That horsey smell permeates everything and if they were storing all the tack down there and maybe blankets or jackets for the horses that small will be there forever! I wonder if the disconnected part was housing for servants/ horse help/ jockeys or something…that stove was amazing! This one is a gem!
@@Debora-bc2hg How cool! My great grandfather was a jockey down in Baltimore in the early 1900’s! Worked at Pimlico! Thank you very much for watching! :)
Like you said…..massive. Would have loved to see it in its heyday. Loved all the woodwork. Fireplaces, staircases, crown moldings, built-ins and the beautiful window seat. What a great loss. Thanks Kappy!
What an amazing old home! So sad that there was no one to leave it to. There were many happy times there. It has a smug feeling to it. I love love those old sinks, that old stove, wow! I'll take both pianos and wicker furniture. wow, wow. Tennessee girl
Wow this is big, beautiful inside too ,and furniture ,way built, wow 1927 ,looked good for that old paper, these were great ,all the antique that was left behind is sad
Love it Kappy, u scared urself! That's y i enjoy watching ur vids so I need 2 explore these places, I'd b 2 nervous 😮! What an excellent house, so beautiful. Its such a shame ppl walk away from these houses or least sell it or something. Great work again! Ty 4 taking us along. Plz b safe out there.
So many great pieces of furniture. Love the color of the unpainted woodwork. Even the servants rooms were big. I'd sure hate to have to clean this place. It's so big! Thanks for showing us this big beautiful place. I appreciate the time you take to show these beautiful homes. 😊😊😊
Totally wow.. incredible history and house.. I liked the build-in covers over the radiator heaters.. and love how big it is 😊.. I think the last room upstairs from the kitchen might have been the severant quarters.. probably the cooks room.. thanks for sharing 😊
I was thinking that yellow room was a cook’s room. Interestingly, that room led to the kitchen which then led to the laundry area. There is still an old washboard down there.
This was just Heartbreaking . A large Family must have lived here but how could knowone want the home or all the personal items ....how could they leave so many memories behind . This home was just amazing...each room was beautiful...even the paint colors fit this home to a T. That room upstairs with the wheel chair .....the sun light coming through the window was just Beautiful...it just seemed so peaceful and relaxing. Kappy this was a real Jem I hope it stays protected from harm . This ranks high on the list of old homes you have taken me to . Great video as always Kappy !! 👍👍
Seeing the wood burning range and fireplace andirons was a big surprise! The completeness of the home is unusual... When you see a barn with the lightning rods it's a bit unusual as well.
Thanks for sharing this with me kappy about The Completely Breathtaking Abandoned Thoroughbred Horse Mansion in the Mountains of Kentucky it was a really nice old home and i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my community tab and God Bless.
Wow what an amazing house, I like this one a lot. I'm surprised you didn't get lost in there, lol. Looked pretty solid and hasn't been vandalized that I could tell. Messy from years of neglect but that's it, cleaning it out would be a huge expense . That and the property taxes I'm sure. Thanks, Kappy I enjoyed this one a great deal
Beautiful! Gotta beg a fav… if you see some intriguing artwork/paintings on the walls, zoom in a minute! Dont misunderstand we are not complaining , we love your channel, its just a suggestion!
This is probably my favorite that you've done yet. I love the flow of it and the windows. The architect. Just an absolutely gorgeous house and it makes me just want to cry that it's not lived in and enjoyed.
I feel like this house could be saved. It looked like someone was redoing the electrical and then stopped. It would take a lot of money, but I feel like it would be worth it.
This is beyond spectacular!! What's to become of it? Maybe there's some distant relative or old family friend or historic group might to able to preserve it or something, especially with a Kentucky Derby winner past.Shes a beauty, thank you for sharing, great video, thanks happy💯👍🏻,I think those jackets might be naval.
IF that house could be salvaged, (which it probably could with very deep pockets), it would be a massive job to clean it out before any renovation assessment could even be done. Then too, imagine the costs for just heating such a massive house with no insulation! Sadly, I think it's time has passed.
The metal roof has saved this house. It has repair and upgrading potential. It would be a money pit however the end result would be stunning if the right person bought it to bring those old bones back to life.
This is an amazing house!! This house was surely loved and treasured. If any spirits came back to visit I could certainly understand why! Im really curious, being a horse lover, what was the name of the Kentucky Derby winner? Id love to know. Great explore Kappy, thank you 😊
just one question: how do you urbexers like yourself find all these places? i know there are forums/sites that post this stuff for fellow explorers...just curious....good channel, been watching you for years
What is it about the pocket doors that causes them to always get stuck in the wall like that? Do they have tracks or rollers that are going out? Maybe rust? Perhaps just debris build up... Seems rare that you find any still in working condition.
What an amazing home, such a waste I wish I could have such a home! The wheelchair is custom built for someone with a need for head supports and leg side supports. Very unusual, probably about 1900. It has the wire wheels but wood/wicker seating. I collect old wheelchairs, I am a quadriplegic and find our history especially equipment totally interesting. I have an 1860s chair with wood wheels and hand pounded frame. Thanks for being able to see such a home especially since I cannot get to your area due to my disability, be safe!
Kappy I absolutely love this house. You mentioned having the creeps in the basement I think it was. Have you ever had a paranormal experience in any of the places you've explored? I love anything ghostie lol.
Great Video presentation Kap or should I say as one of your commentor referred you as "King Kappy" ! This place and all the possessions left behind by the previous occupants are fascinating. The mirror on the stairway landing and your fright at what you saw was so funny, Yeah we too would have had a scare! Glad you don't edit them out! Hey here's an idea why not put together a CD for your loyal followers of "Kappy Bloopers" too cool. Including in the CD your fav expressions like "phew" or "Jeez Louise" I bet you'd make a bungle bro! LOL Yeah, I'm starting to binge-watch your videos, man! my wife likes them too it keeps me out of her hair! LOL Keep up the good did I say good, nay GREAT WORK Kap! May I ask a question? There's a rumor going around that mirror on the stair landing where you got the fright.... the rumor is you went back and looked back into that mirror and chanted. Mirror, Mirror on the wall who's the best You Tuber of them all!" Ok, I'll move on!!
So sad to see this beauty just decaying. So if the family had to leave it, and the bank isn’t getting anything out of it, what’s the point? You’d think the bank would at least try and work with the owners. Just so wrong to let it just rot.
What's struck me was what a happy, busy, comfotable home that must have been once. Wish it still was. Thanks, and take care, Kappy!
HAHAH! I laughed out loud when you scared yourself in the mirror. I've done the same thing.

Very Nice Find Kappy!... Another BIG Fine Gem that's been saved by a high grade durable roof finishing... 👍🙂⭐🌟⭐🌟

Wow! What a big house! Must have been quite the grand lady!
I absolutely love all the enclosed winding stairs! I would buy a house for that reason alone! Thanks for showing us around!
That’s a beautiful old home. It’s a shame it’s just rotting away. Thanks, Kappy!
VINTAGE BASEBALL MITTS!! MUSEUM GRADE!
Absolutely amazing Kappy!! It’s beautiful! But, the wheel chair is incredibly sad. Just like the house, the owners grew old and then went on. Only the house remains of their life and history. Thanks so much Kappy. You’re the best. 😊

What a gorgeous old house! I love these huge old home’s! Sure is sad she’s abandoned! Wonderful video as usual Kappy! 👍👍❤️✊🤘
That’s a jack n Jill bathroom, probably connected kids rooms- look at the rug under the vintage wheelchair! This whole place is just extraordinary!!! I’ll be watching this one twice! Thank you for powering thru that cold to document this place!!!
Absolutely another beautiful old home with amazing wood detail. Be still my heart ❤️ Thank you again Kappy 🙌🏼👏🏼✌🏼🫶🏻
Oh this place makes me want to play the megaball , win big & restore cool places.. like this one!!! This place is beyond amazing!!!! Wow
Hey Kappy! Great old place. I also love that curved bannister. They don't make 'em like they used to. Thanks for the explore. Stay safe. ✌️
Kappy thanks for showing this beautiful home. It's totally gorgeous. You know it was awesome in its day. So sad it's left to rot. I always enjoy joy your videos. Thank you.
Incredible is right!!!!!
Great house and another great presentation Kappy!
Funny Kappy but everytime you mentioned a smell i was smelling that too!!!! Guess you invented "smell-a-vision"!!!!!!
What a beautiful house.
Oh goody! Just in time! Got my coffee brewed & we are all set!! Fascinating! In my younger days I worked on a horse ranch! I sure learned a lot!
Lol Kapp I startle myself too every time I look in a mirror!
King Kappy does it again! What a beautiful gem! Thank you for all you do. Always looking forward to your next one! ❤🎉
As a lifetime lover of horses and training them and riders, I sensed the love of those thoroughbreds and the family. What a great home for both people and animals!
Based upon your experience with horses, do you suppose that was a stable in the lower level?
This place is utterly ginormous! Impossible to heat by today's standards. The wood cookstove was so cool. A beautiful old house!
I can't remember back in the 60s and 70s several houses of my friends did not have overhead lights. When you turn the wall switch it turned on a lamp. I think this was considered trendy.
The cabinets that held record players and radios and sometimes even TVs were called “Entertainment Systems”
Wow! This is a house! This goes on for miles, and how beautiful it is! We’re there outbuildings or are they all gone by now? Loved the house. I grew up on a thoroughbred race horse farm and married a jockey.

32:45 Wow what a tree! Just stunning! 🤩
Almost every house Kappy does has its resident tree
WOW 😲 ANOTHER AWSOME COOL 😎🆒 OLD HOUSE 🏠🏡.KAPPY.JUST WHEN I THINK YOU CAN'T FIND ANOTHER ONE LIKE THAT YOU BRING US THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE
Thank you Kappy! Wonderful video as always 👍🏼👍🏼
Such a shame to see it deteriorate. Just a beautiful, beautiful place.
What an amazing old home! So sad that there was no one to leave it to. There were many happy times there. It has a smug feeling to it. I love love those old sinks, that old stove, wow! I'll take both pianos and wicker furniture. wow, wow. Tennessee girl
Even though it is a couple years old, this video is one of my favorites.
I would love to have lived in this one. The staircase is beautiful. Awesome find and explore!!!
What an amazing old house! 3 staircases! wow! Thanks for bringing us on a tour Kappy! :-)
Absolutely beautiful home!! If I were a little younger and had the money I would buy that place in a hot minute and restore it!
Wow this is big, beautiful inside too ,and furniture ,way built, wow 1927 ,looked good for that old paper, these were great ,all the antique that was left behind is sad

The cooking stove was from the Engman-Matthews Range Company manufactured in 1915 in Goshen Indiana
I love this house and one of my favorites. Beautiful find Kappy !
Nice find.
Amazing! This is one of many you have explored that have multiple pianos/ piano fortes/ organs left behind. THat old oven is called an "aga".
That's Awesome! Would Love to see it Restored! Reminds me of the Munster's house on 1313 Mockingbird CT! LOL! 😂
Loved the wood cook stove!

How beautiful with the sun streaming through those lovely rooms, have you checked up on it since you filmed it? I hope hope someone took it on.
Hey uum thanks for the October 67 vintage comment, I was born in October 67
I would say the jacket on the fireplace was civil war
Easily one of my favorites! Oh, to have the money to fix her up.

My grandmother had an old stove similar to this stove.
