- Thank you so much Team Associated for sending this to us to give a rip! This rig was a blast and has soooo much potential. I definitely pushed it to the limit. Full disclosure I was pretty sure that the little 380 wasn't going to take 3s, but I did it anyway just to see what happened. Now what would I do to improve this ride? Stay tuned for future videos to see how I make the MT12 a true Mini Monster!
ahhhh! Bummer dude. We both thought it would burn up quick on 3s. Looks pretty quick on 2s. Definitely going to order one.
it was pretty decent on the 2s! what was nice about the 3s was the torque though. I think these are gonna be fun little platform. And I forgot to mention how well and tight it turned!
Just picked mine up. Did you try the battery it came with or were you using a better 2s pack?
@@thejeepinrealtor5742 I used a better 2s pack. It was an Ovonic 5000 mah shorty pack for racing.

Tamiya makes a sport tuned brush motor that would be a faster 380 for it.
It looks easier to work on and upgrade price is cool. I love it

I love this truck! The body looks beautiful, has anyone driven it at 18 or 19 mph? If I drive it at 20 mph I will sweep the transmission gears? greetings (the only thing I don't like is that it reaches about 13 mph)
I really wanted to love this truck, but that was not as good as I thought it would be!
I don’t think the majority of the video capture did it justice. And I knew the little motor wouldn’t take the 3s, but I also had to remind my self that the shelf price is pretty competitive, and a good value in my opinion. It’s not really in the same market as other monster truck/bashers. More of an entry level rig. On 2s I would hand it to anyone and feel confident it would safe.
We’re you using the battery it came with?
will a 540 can fit … say the brushless reedy system out of the dr10

I don’t think so, but I think the brushless system from the reflex might do the trick. Honestly it doesn’t need much more power. Just a little more would be nice. I like my Monster Trucks to be torqy not fast. Slap wheelies for the win!
Any updates on the motor?
Well, I just replaced it with a stock one. Didn’t really have time to find a better solution.

I don’t think so, but there is a spektrum that would work for the mini b.
