You don't need to check trailer hubs, charge batteries, fill the tank, or change the oil to fish in waders...unless you're talking about the maintenance your physical body might need with age. Ha, ha, ha! Great video, gentlemen!
I love the fact that you reiterated multiple times how little gear is needed for this type of angling. This time of year is just incredible, grab a hand full of jig heads and a couple bags of plastics and you're good to go!
Great content! We'll start sending your channel to our clients who recently bought land from us near the lakes. This will surely give them motivation to try new activity like fishing. Thanks for sharing! 👍
I live three miles from the lake , I can go catch saugeye everyday if I wish, from the shore. I usually catch just as many from shore as I do in my boat. Sometimes walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass , large crappie, and a few other species as well.
I'm a panfish guy, but my son in law and I are going for walleye at Truman Dam on Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Will be my first time fishing for Walleye, and I appreciate your tips and advice. They are trying to get me to go for paddlefish, but that's too much for this old, busted up man.
I always keep a couple rods in the truck can't beat catching a fish or two at lunch break from work or take the scenic route home swim baits have been a go to I like to add a chunk of crawler or small minnow for a little taste great video
Well done video. I remember you doing this type of catching last year Simple it is I also did it at Double Ditch Bismarck Missouri River today What another adventure
Jason, Your reel handle is on the wrong side. But, you catch more fish than me, so I will try it that way. Wish it was that easy. Have a great spring. Dark water with high winds so far in 2022.
We need more real world vids like these,- this is real fishing. If you need tons of fancy electronics and a "walleye boat" you're not a true/real fisherman.
im strictly a shore fisherman and would like to travel to Devils lake for a trip. Where is a good place to stay close to some good shore fishing area? any help would be appreciated
How late into summer would you expect walleye fishing from shore to run in the immediate area around Winnipeg, Canada. Looks like I'll be up there a few days this summer.
Yes the roads and bridges offer public right of way. The adjacent land may be posted for no trespassing. If you are on a road or bridge, you are generally fine.
@@JasonMitchellOutdoors Thanks Jason for the fast reply Thinking I would like to come up from Mandan next week and do some shore fishing I have been doing the old days with my grandpa memories here on the Missouri River even tho I have 2 boats Just something different and simple.
The upside to your thought is after they leave the trash is left behind. I live in mn and see it all the time. They do enjoy hunting and fishing however but they don’t respect the environment
@@arthurbrumagem3844 that's just wrong. We do respect the environment. Just a few bad apples ruin for the rest of us. Not just the hmong trash everything. Thank you for going up there? I doubt the people of north Dakota appreciate 30-40 of you going up there and over keeping filling up endless coolers of whitebass and walleyes ect..... Just because there's "no limit" doesn't mean keep hundreds of fish evertime, but don't worry after you ruin the environment there like you've done here in MN there will be limits there too
sold my boats I went back to waders got tired of all the hassels at the boat launches including being interrogated by the people with clipboards wanting to know everywhere your boats been even writing down you car and boat licence numbers without our permission.

Shore fishing is hands down my favorite. I have a LS but nothing beats the smack or thump of a nice eye from shore.
Shore fishing is the best,I logged 109 walleye over 24inches from shore couple seasons ago
*It’s scary how often I daydream about living in ND…especially in spring. 🙌 Amazing day, fellas!*

Great fishing and great job on releasing that female to reproduce many more fish
Nice job guys! Always good to catch some early season eyes.
Nice seeing a video on a more simple way to get out and fish walters!

Spring is often best but you can catch walleye from shore on rivers all summer.
Wondering if a person could do the same thing in the fall, And have as much success
I caught more fish last year from shore than I did in the boat!
Awesome!

Wow fishing on north Dakota seems better then here in south Dakota
