It shows several scenes from the husband's perspective, including the ending scene which is a flash-forward after the wife left him for a hotter, younger guy. He's this hollowed-out husk of a man, clearly depressed from the collapse of his marriage. He's walking aimlessly down the street and sees his ex-wife with the other guy, and she's now heavily pregnant and doesn't even recognize him. Pretty sad shit.
