Many people seem to forget that Glen was meant to be the main rider at PBM and was shown up by the performance of Tommy. The friction began as Tommy clearly saw the opportunity to become a champion. Winners never quit and to be a winner it takes talent and a selfish mindset, ask any previous champion and they will tell you! Tommy deserves the applause and credit for his accomplishments. Going to Honda maybe a brave move, however, Tommy is a progressive rider who has been in many bikes and fully understands how to setup to compete. Be a fan of the sport and not a typical social media troll!
Great comment 👍🏻
Reasons, Irwin was the favoured rider, uncertainty over PBM and finally the big money from a factory Honda contract. Good luck to him, hope it works out but Honda have to make a big step up in 2024.
Interesting decision, I hope it works out for Tommy and the Honda team. Roll on 2024
Reminds me of Mrs Merton and Debbie Bridewell. Lol. ''Well Debbie, what was it that attracted you to the millionaire bike team?'' The photo opportunities of the number One on their bike must be worth the half million £ contract.
Amazing to see the team Neil and Harv have managed to put together this year!
This is going to get interesting! I am especially made up with Deano in the team - his ability and consistency and attitude excel.
Honda certainly seem to have a strong line up for 2024
BSB was so good too watch in 2023
Best championship in a long time. 2024 should also be entertaining.
well done tommeh! much deserved good luck for 2024 mate
Must be the pound notes plus, the backing of HRC.
I hope they give him something to defend his championship
Glad to see TB1 on a Honda next year, he’s the reigning BSB champion on merit.
Except Glenn’s bike broke down robbing him of 25 points…..How is that Tommys merit ?
@@douglasalexander4348 Perhaps it was karma for cheating his way to a higher grid position by not completing a lap in practice. Or perhaps waving his arms about like a bitch deliberately trying to get Tommy disqualified in an earlier restart. Whatever, it’s Tommys name on the trophy, deal with it.
@@QuadnificentFPV Didn’t Tommy knock him off ? Sad antics from Tommy, and wasn’t it Tommy that was acting like a spoilt kid ? It will be his last trophy and you know it. That’s why PBM got shot of him.
@@douglasalexander4348 GI will never be BSB champion, he’s too fragile and emotional. Let’s move on.
@@QuadnificentFPV He was 1 point away from beating Tommy. Not bad for someone who you say will never win.
Totally agree with you Tommy I think the Timing is perfect you’re gonna smash it could even be multiple titles for you and Honda! go show them kid!!!! ✊✊✊
😂
Fantastic news Tommy, you may have the number 1 plate but it was more than obvious you were number 2 at PBM.
Carnt wait to see you on the honda.
Anyone who’s criticising him on the grounds of taking the money - even if that’s true - should pause for reflection. In this business his career could end suddenly the very next time he rides so he’s well entitled to look out for himself.
Great news Tommy wishing you good luck in your new team just hope Honda don’t let you down and this new bike has the potential
Good luck for next year mate
Good Man! I think the blade could be a weapon again in 2024.
Its time enough for the big H to start delivering and get back to being big hitters.
Great move my money is on TB for 2024
That must have been a massive decision Tom fair play to you for taking the risk many wouldn’t have. 👍
I don't think it was his decision, seems like he got the boot because of his odd behavior last year.
@@therealquaid1694 yeah, crazy odd man won the title
@@garymuckle1002Only because of his bowling ball antics. Saying things like "it's all out war" is very odd and unlikable.
@@therealquaid1694100% He knows how to ride a bike that’s for sure but every time he talks he says something absolutely mental. He can talk for 5 minutes, contradict himself three times and not actually say anything by the end.
@@Mockle07 🤣
All the best Tommy, shame the haters are still going on about last season ffs get over it.
Those types can’t the bitterness just seethes on and on
All his fan's are wandering why he has gone to honda
Interesting!
Will pbm be on the grid next year?
Good point !!😢
They’ve said yes
I’d love to know why the split from Ducati and PBM considering they won the title hope they don’t go bust Honda are going to struggle tho
Your brother will be so proud, we, your fans are proud hrc wanted u. LET'S GO, Tommy.
Good luck Tommy
Come on Tommy, do a shackey, win on anything
Wonder how long it will take him to fall out with his new teammate…
Must have been pretty easy to fall out with Irwin...
2024 is the Blades year
👍👍👌👌
Maybe getting a big contract from the team that can afford it. No hate here, the boy's worked hard to achieve his dream & time to secure his financial future.
It will be seen if it's been the right racing decision for him as the season progresses. Honda get a champion in their squad and No 1 on the bike.
Maybe he was binned off from PBM because of his behaviour, we might never know but hopefully he'll learn how to act like a champion and drop some of his unlikeable (to some) behaviours.
He has acted that way his entire career, I can’t see that changing just because he has the #1 on his bike.
@@Mockle07 I can't argue with that but if he doesn't change it will make for interesting reading at least.
I was a fan and hoped he won it last year because he wears his heart on his sleeve but - as he readily admits - he let himself down on occasion, so lets see if the lessons have stuck.
I'd like to see Irwin take the title next season and been impressed by the contrast in behaviour - we wouldn't like everyone to be clones of each other!
@@S1000xrhp haha agreed. 👍🏻
I’m not a fan of his tbh but I’m not one of those that talks shit just because I don’t like someone… he’s a fantastic rider but I can’t stand the nonsense he comes out with. As you say though, we don’t want a grid full of clones!
@@Mockle07
Obviously your not a fan as seen in the other comments
He says it as it is no PR bull💩
He won the title get over it
@@macsmith6216 lol I literally said I’m not a fan… how did you manage to work that out genius! 🤷🏼♂️😂
Great rider, comes across as a bit of a dick, he even admits that himself. I’m sure he’ll be so happy to have a white Knight like you looking out for him on line though 😂
WSBK bound for sure.
Good luck Tommy.. we could all see that PBM wanted Glenn to be champ and you stopped that..
I’m sure with your skill and knowledge you can bring that Honda back to where it belongs..
No doubt in my mind that Honda is the most capable team for any racing venue in the world. It just depends on if they listen to the mechanics and the riders or the designers decide to go off on their own. Good luck Tommy!
What ? So what championship have the most capable team won? They’re not even been close to winning ? Do you read the results?
@@douglasalexander4348"Since 2002 when Moto GP went 4 stroke they have won 22 rider and constructor championships and 153 Grand Prix victories". I say they're the most capable of any manufacturer. They've been winning on technologically advanced bikes since the 60's when they single handedly busted the Brit bike dominance. Yeah capable.
@@ralphwatten2426 Honda WERE brilliant. But it’s not 2002, it’s 2024. Of course they’re capable, but Ducati and Yamaha KTM and Aprilia are more capable. Quote Honda wins from 2023-2024. Remember, Tommy himself said PBM Ducati were the best team in the paddock. How many wins do you predict with Tommy on a Honda ?
@@douglasalexander4348 I'm not a sere, I can't predict the future. I don't even care if Honda doesn't win. Ducati were bottom feeders for many years until they came up with their V4. Now they're great. Honda out V twinned Harley, they out V twinned Ducati. It's cyclical. You haven't mentioned how great BMW and Triumph are yet. Why don't you tell me how great they are.
@@ralphwatten2426 Why are Triumph and bmw great at racing? They make great bikes for the road though. Let’s face it, your living in the past and so desperate you can’t read the results of last years major championships. So, look them up, write them down, and play spot the Honda win. Maybe then reality will enter your life. While your at it, have a look at sales of Africa twins vs BMW gs. They lose even when not racing haha. Probably why you’ve got one and Marquez ditched them.
ENJOY ALL THAT MONEY 😉
Yeah. Was Tommy pushed or did he go. Like you say. Internal forces in PBM wanted Glen to win. I think he will win it this year. Glad Tommy left, as I hated PBM team. I'm back on Tommy's side, but it's a too bigger ask. Glen will unfortunately win it in 2024
I don't think it took much for Tommy to make this sudden decision! Putting to bed all that 2023 'teammate' stuff, Honda HRC is a good call as Honda is continuously developing their race bikes as they desperately want to be number 1 again, be it MotoGP, WSBK and BSB. Tommy Bridewell is the right man to do it! Best of luck to him and the team for 2024
Honda is continuously developing their race bikes?!
Have you seen their results in BSB, WSB and MotoGP over the last few years?! 👀
FFS give it rest, you really are a hater, it will eat you up, get a life
@@macsmith6216 Hater of who? Honda? Is anything I just said factually incorrect?
@@Mockle07 haha, yes, no one can ride a Honda and win. Everyone that’s left them seems to have done better. See if regs now alter to help other teams other than Ducati ?
@@Mockle07Puig's gone...that's a start!
Now we'll see if it was the bike who won title or rider,2024 will tell us.
Only if Tommy’s replacement wins
It was pretty clear PBM daughter wanted Glenn to win the title this year, it makes sense for them to put everything behind Glenn next year. Tommy had to go elsewhere
Think Tommy made a rod for his own back falling out like a spoilt schoolboy with Glenn when he did nothing wrong. Not great publicity for sponsors or helpful for to a family trying to deal with Paul’s passing away. Why would he swap teams when he was ‘with the best team in the paddock’
What makes u say that ? I thought I heard glenn say it was the other way around
@@douglasalexander4348 money maybe !
Seems like a strange choice seeing as honda haven't really been top of their game the last few years. Must of been a few bob changing hands 😉
@@douglasalexander4348Ooo,"Glenn" is it? I just call him Thug...not a nice person, you should do some research into that family!
World superbike was the desicion maker for him
More money that why
Hope your decision serves you well
His pure English accent is like ASMR relaxation to ears😅
Not going to be at front on this bike😂
I will be switching to Support HRC next season 🎉
That's Tommy off the Table for champion then! No Disrespect Honda but the Japanese bikes just aren't as good as the Dukes. Did he jump or was he pushed?
We wiil see, everything needs a process, sucsess and unsecsess is take turn in each team, maybe in 2024 still Ducati's year or Honda with this new Fireblade will make a suprise and be contender in the fight for Championship. But never underestimated the Honda, because their legacy in racing world never be doubted, and aslo their capacity to make a decent bike to fight for Championship is so sublime.
Shame you will only wear your #1 plate for a year on that bike. Take their money though, you earned the title last year now rake it in. Presume he’s looking for a 2025 WSBK seat with HRC.
I remember a time when winning a BSB title was almost a direct route into a competitive team in WSBK but it seems to be a different case now.
Good luck to TB46, time will tell if the bike is quick enough but he certainly is
I dislike the PBM team, mainly on how they’ve treated riders in the past and it was clear that PBM team wanted and very much favoured Glenn Irwin to win the championship this year. I don’t really understand why PBM has two riders if they favour one over the other, which they clearly do. Hopefully, Tommy can give the Honda a good showing next season.
Come on Glenn. He was favoured rider as he isn’t a bell end.
💴 💴 That’s all am saying
Wouldn't you do the same at his age?
Gets rid of one Irwin,to be lumbered with another!
I was hoping this was an April Fools joke. Oh Well....😐😶
Lets face it, he’s gone to Honda for the money and there’s nothing wrong with that.
😂😂😂😂😂
On a side note. BSB best racing series. Moto GP, RIP.
Strange decision
Maybe more to this. If I owned PBM I wouldn't want him in my team after this year's behaviour.
Think the decision was made for him
@@joecalvertlooks that way Joe. As champion you wouldn't ordinarily choose a slower bike.
@@seanadamson280 it’s a shame, I always liked Tommy but I think he let the pressure get to him and let himself down with his behaviour in the title fight. Still hope he does well on the Honda, can’t see it though.
@@joecalvert agree 💯
Must of offers him so much money he cud not say no look we’re Honda finished last year no we’re is answer won’t win a race let alone defend title
Honda will bounce back , also I would imagine that Honda have offered him a really good deal and in what is a relatively short career money counts , and always at the back of a top riders mind must be what happens if I have a bad accident
Honda at the moment somewhere you go to end your career!
I smell a story coming lol a Honda though its crap in all classes
