@@spiralCLE yes and no. You have to remember the radical difference between J and Waylon. SS was massively experimental as it had to be to figure out how to work with a completely different singer. As far as BSFUC being all over the place, may i reference the self titled album and that looney-tunes esque acid trip? Or are you a merry melodies kind of person?
@@TheGreatToki how is savior sorrow even in the same realm of experimental as their first three albums? Also I meant BSFUC is all over the place as in the album itself doesn’t sound good, it’s obviously not mixed well and it shows on some tracks. And yes, I love Merry Melodies!
@@spiralCLE my theory being that when you get new members, you have to scale things back a bit and figure out what works and doesnt work. Rap sections are gone, but hey, ballads. Also feels more synth based, like the early albums, vs universals version of xx and xiii which were heavy guitar I liked BSFUGs mixing better that RNB. Drums were way too loud on that album. And my ears are kinda fucked, so if i'm noticing one section is too loud over another, thats an issue.

Great audio quality you could never hear j mann or j nothing on the old concerts. XIII and beautiful stories were the two best albums from this band and I don't see them surpassing that from here on out.
My only concern is what happened to stitch? I can't tell if it was him on the left waterdrums, he's my favorite member of the band alongside Jmann, it is so hard to tell who is there
Stitch is in cleveland working on a horror house. No jmann, no tommy either. Basically you've got steve, skinny, dr. F, and roberto, guitar, other waterboy, and scott beck are all "new"
@@ross_boss from what I’ve read, Jackie and Skinny split up. Not sure why Tankx left. I see their new guitarist is calling himself “Skins”. I thought the second vocalist sounded like Scott from Ventana. IIRC, Stitch manages Ventana. He sounds ok but I prefer Jay. I have a bad feeling we will hear that he’s parted ways soon. I guess he doesn’t like traveling much anymore. Sad to say but I feel like MRH is merely a cover band of their former selves at this point. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a fan but, things haven’t been the same since Waylon and Jeff left.
The new guitarist doesn’t call himself skins at all, his name is Joe Gaal but everyone calls him Jenkins and he is amazing on guitar and really laid back and cool to talk to
@@NEP_Chris I went backstage at the asylum in Birmingham and he has Jenkins on his vest, I’m also friends with him on Facebook I can guarantee you it’s not skins
