    They work great as race bikes and road bikes. Suzuki really put a nice package together with the SV

      They sure did. I'm super happy with it!

    What a great short film! Beautiful scenery, good clear sound and no annoying music or commentary, just the little V-twin rumbling away. Thats a lovely stretch of road, looks like a drivers road too - I think that was a pair of Caterhams at 3:48.

      Sorry for the slow reply. Yeah.. usually there's a lot of cool cars down there. Seen a few 7's and lots of MX5's usually...

    I always we red one to. So 2 weeks ago I got one. It sounds ace with twin cans on. But my first ride on It was summat else. My previous w bikes being zx9r an vfr 400. All totally dif bikes. I was not prepared for the engine breaking of the sv it caught me off guard I'd read about it but until you ride one you don't realize how much engine braking they have. But looking fwd to mastering it. Then I've had 3 totally dif dif bikes with totally dif bikes with different characteristics. Gotta be a triple next 😊

      Exactly the same here mate. I'm thinking of getting rid of my Superduke next year and getting a new MT09 😃 I had a speed triple but only for a week until someone stole it (in England of course)

    You have no idea how much this makes me happy seeing you riding an SV650 S in Japan! lol the 2001 being my first bike and my main vehicle for literally 5 years straight. I had a lot of people talk crap on me for having this bike (you know everyone with their super sports and egos) but it was my first bike that is plenty bike and a lot of fun! Sounds great too! Go V-twin!

      Haha that's awesome man. I really like it so far. Should make a great commuter and a seriously fun bike for the twisties when my KTM is broken haha. Gotta have two bikes if you own a KTM! 🛠️🛠️🛠️

      Totally different bike. SV is perfect for the road...250...bit too slow

      Too true. I enjoy any bike...if it's got two wheels and an engine...it's fun

    Same SV650s (vp52a) as you, it rides silver *KATANA* style.
    Thank you for your continued support

    Simply Awesome! 👍😎🇦🇺
    I wish Suzuki would make an S version today using the X model as the platform.
    How would you rate the “fun factor” when comparing it to the Vitpilen 401 you borrowed from a mate? I look forward to your next video!

    • @bikehubjapan
      @bikehubjapan  3 роки тому

      Fun factor 100. It's great for Japan with the slower speed twisty roads. I've had it off the clocks once but it's fun UPTO 160kmh...

    • @marcusgeorge1825
      @marcusgeorge1825 3 роки тому

      So which is more fun in the slow to medium rated corners? Vitpilen 401 or the old SV650S?

    • @bikehubjapan
      @bikehubjapan  3 роки тому

      That's a tricky one...the 401 is still the funniest bike I rode this year, but it's pretty close. I'd say the SV takes it as it's got more torque to pull you out of the corners...hmm but the 401 could be kept nailed everywhere...tricky. Ask me again in a few weeks haha

    That's a nice looking and sounding bike - one year newer than my fazer 'Rattus' but a whole lot tidier 😂

    • @bikehubjapan
      @bikehubjapan  3 роки тому

      Too tidy for me.. but I doubt it will stay that clean for long. Probably should order a spare set of clip ons for 'when' it happens haha

    Looked like a beautiful ride, beautiful autumnal day and scenery. What do your mates think of the new bike; they had a go on it yet?

    • @bikehubjapan
      @bikehubjapan  3 роки тому +2

      Adam has had a go on it and liked it. Surprisingly everyone likes it and thinks it's perfect for me...not enough power to kill myself with haha

    Hello mate, what's the deal with motorcycle licences in Japan?

    • @bikehubjapan
      @bikehubjapan  3 роки тому +1

      Depends where you're from. Americans have to do the test in Japan but UK, Aussies etc. can just transfer the license without doing a test...

      @@bikehubjapan I see! very interesting that, thank you! looks like I'll be taking a trip to Japan someday.
