I formerly used Roboto for everything but found it was less legible for body text. Gotham’s my favorite right now, but always open to something new!

The Mr/Mrs Eaves family is a really good all-around typeface. I used that throughout most of my graduate years. You can mix and match them really well to fit the project too. Would 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a clean elegant alternative to Arial or Helvetica.

Use a paid typeface, because they're more complete for different use cases. Any font that has heavy / italic options is a preference imo. It becomes part of your identity and you get to support other art-forms. :) In the past I've used TT Hoves, Halis Rounded. Currently using Plymouth Serial and Morl.
