FMF 4.1 RCT & Mega Bomb Header vs Stock Exhaust on a 2022 KTM 450 XC-F

  • Sound difference at idle and blipping throttle. FMF 4.1 RCT silencer (no inserts) and Mega Bomb header versus the stock KTM exhaust system. 12 hours on the bike and did this video back to back after installing the FMF.

      Deeper note for sure…and louder! Especially when on the gas.

      @@pipefitterdirtbikerider3013 hard to say for sure because I didn’t put much time on the stock exhaust…but the bike absolutely rips with the FMF full exhaust! I needed the ability to put a spark arrestor in for racing too. It will also pass our typical 96dB sound restriction with just the spark arrestor screen. You can get a quiet insert too but I haven’t used it at all.

      Kind of true in general about the 450 XC-F! I will say it doesn’t look as bad when actually on the ground and sitting on it…probably because your body is absorbing it all!

      Didn’t put too many hours on the stock pipe so a little hard to compare. If I had to comment I’d say it feels like the slight increase in low to mid range power also came with a smoothed out delivery if that makes sense. More noticeable on the “easy” map setting than the all out map.
