  • The British Antarctic Survey says it doesn't know when scientists can return to one of its research stations. This is due to the danger posed by a giant iceberg, that is almost the size of Greater London.
Experts are tracking the mass from space as it circles the Antarctic coastline.
British Antarctic Survey scientists don't believe that this particular event is connected to climate change.

This calm explanation was designed to alleviate your fears about global warming. Go back and listen to it again. He did not say that it was not connected to Global warming. He said that it is unlikely that it is connected to global warming. That is because it is a relatively small ice sheet that he can say that. I knew that we had passed the point of no return when the Larsen B ice sheet broke away in the 90's. That one was not the size of London. It was the size of the state of New Hampshire. Since then there has been another Ice Sheet break away of such size. What our governments do not want is for the general public to come to a full realization of what is happening now. If they did there would be mass panic and rioting in the streets worldwide. I have been following this since the late 1960's. What was predicted then is happening now. This is real and it is the most serious situation that any of us are ever going to experience. This will be the first time that Homo sapiens has experienced events of this magnitude. Buckle up folks, the ride is going to get very strange from here on in.

CO2 at 0.04% is a 2,500th of the atmosphere. That means to warm the climate by just 1"C carbon dioxide molecules must capture 2500"C of heat energy. That is bonkers. It also breaks all the laws of thermodynamics.
Methane at 0.00017% is a 600,000th of the atmosphere so it's even more bonkers.
However, the climate is changing. This is because of deliberate geoengineering programmes, in particular ozone thinning away from the poles. Though largely unreported ozone thinning effect is directly observable, this summer you can see a unnaturally bright sun just as we did last year. Under these conditions the pain felt when looking at the sun is not only from the increase in visible light but the much larger increase in infrared. (Look up at the sky and you will see a range of geoengineering operations in progress, these include chemtrail induced cloud or hazing, ripple patterns caused by HAARP installations, bizarre and unnatural cloud formations).
Climate change is a programme to force change in accordance with the implementation of Agenda 21 /2030. Current events demonstrate this transition is well underway and will involve massive population cull through injected nanotech (re transhumanist programme). Agenda 21 also sees the permanent loss of all property rights with the introduction of universal basic income (ref NESARA/GESARA) and has/is being promoted by The World Economic Forum.
'You will own nothing and you will be happy' WEF
In a depopulated world the surviving brainwashed and controlled population will be confined to mega cities. Carbon limits will be used to restrict consumption and liberty. Meanwhile the re-greened wilderness will be the exclusive playground of the ultra rich elite posing as conservationists.
The CO2 hoax amounts to the theft of the world and the enslavement of humanity by a parasitic few.
      Welcome to the future!
      _________
I have included a debunking of 'accumulated heat' as it is so often used to explain how trace elements, so called 'greenhouse gasses', can warm the planet.
Accumulated heat whilst sounding a reasonable explanation of how heat can build up is rather nothing more than gobbledygook. In fact it shows those using such arguments do not even understand what heat is.
When we measure temperature we are measuring the heat energy a thing is losing. In short heat is a measurement of flow, the transfer of heat energy and this will always be in the direction towards the colder. For this reason a thing can never 'accumulate heat' in the way those advocating CO2 climate change describe. The temperature of a body is the measure of heat output, it can never be greater than the measure of heat input. Output = input. When a thing is warmed it is heated to an equivalent of the heat input. If this input is not maintained it will cool. Those that propose that heat can build up to be hotter than the total measure of heat input at a given time either do not understand what heat is or are being deliberately misleading. To illustrate, an object being heated by a flame can never become hotter than that flame, it's temperature cannot rise inexorably to the temperature of the sun for instance. Heat cannot be accumulated. When we think about it common sense tells us this must be the case.
NASA and even Nobel Prize winning physicists have expounded 'accumulated heat' as the explanation how CO2 is able to warm the atmosphere. They claim that over hundreds of years CO2 has captured heat energy and this heat has 'accumulated' to produce a serious warming effect. As I have just explained, this is totally impossible and fundamentally violates all the laws of thermodynamics. That respected scientists should support such uneducated, unthinking nonsense is disturbing and only reflects that in terms of being able to think clearly about a subject they have no facility or inclination. These are the Dark Ages of science. Belief has outweighed logic or any critical thought. It tells us that we should not unquestioningly accept anything we are told, that experts can be fools.
(NB: be aware of attempts to discard thermodynamics by talking about biology.
Eg. 'It only takes a drop of arsenic to kill a person.'
This would be somewhat desperate, muddled thinking. Clearly biological processes based on the reaction of a cell are not the same as the laws of physics/thermodynamics).

Its a iceberg so the density of the water is already taken into consideration. So when it melts the sea level wont rise, same as when you have an ice cube in a cup and it melts. Your cup doesn't over fill once the ice melts..
The ice melting on Antarctica... now that shit is worrying as when that 1 mile ice glacier melts that water subsequently travels down to the sea causing the sea level to rise as that water has been frozen on land. So when that melts and Northern siberia, Canada etc water runs into the ocean we are truly fooked.

So many countries are facing the worst wildfires ever. Many others have only started to recover from some of the worst floods ever seen. And the IPCC has just warned humanity (one more time), about the consequences of climate change, which threatens everyone´s future, and may become irreversible in the following years. Some five years ago I used to think that the fight against these environmental problems is a technological fight. That we should develop new innovative, cleaner technologies. I have changed my mind. The last decades have seen exponential technological developments in most fields, including energy, production, transportation, etc. Yet, the potential positive impacts of these new technologies have been overshadowed by widespread bad policymaking. Many countries continue to subsidize fossil fuels, which has largely prevented a more widespread use of renewables. Most countries have failed to ban or at least regulate planned obsolescence, a huge problem behind excessive consumption and waste generation, both closely linked to carbon emissions. I could mention tens of examples of damaging environmental policies, which were taken during the last years, not only in developing countries, but in many of the richest and more "developed" too. We know what to do against climate change, we have the technology and the resources. That knowledge has been in the scientific literature for years. But there is simply no political will to take action. Why? Mainly due to a global political unbalance. Ideally, we live in “representative” democracies, where politicians (ideally) represent the will and interests of the majority of people. But more and more people are becoming convinced that this is just a lie. Politicians, all around the world, represent economic interests, some times of their own, most of the times of those who have the money to finance their political campaigns, or simply to make them rich with generous donations. A quick research shows how much money the super-rich (managers and CEOs of oil corporations) have recently put into lobbying against policies to cut carbon emissions. The same problem has stopped many other policies aiming to protect the environment, such as once and for all banning the planned obsolescence widely used in the electronics and software industries, as well as many other industries. In fact, the same political unbalance problem is today preventing poverty reduction. Most researchers believe that we (the global society), do have the means to drastically reduce, if not to eliminate global poverty. Yet there is simply not political will to do so. Moreover, many policies (especially in the context of international commerce), are deliberately designed to increase poverty. Not because of poverty itself, but because more poverty is a side-effect of huge profits for those who control policymaking: the super-rich. May be the best example are the so called "structural adjustment programs", imposed by the IMF in poor countries. These are a set of policies whose adoption is simply forced in most poor countries, and are designed to benefit large corporations and international banks, at the expense of people, who get poorer or simply can’t escape poverty. It is estimated that these policies have put nearly a billion people in poverty during the last decades and, of course, a handful of people (mainly politicians and especially those associated to large corporations), became extremely rich. A good part of this money is today “hidden” in tax havens. The existence of tax havens is another example of a political decision that generates poverty, but also huge profits for a handful of people. And then, some of the richest people in the world decide to become “philanthropists”, and put a bit of “their” money into environmental programs and research and development for poverty reduction. In this crazy world we have philanthropists who lobby against good environmental policies and who don´t pay a cent in taxes in most of the countries where their corporations do business. If the global society cannot overcome the political unbalance problem, which is cause and consequence of the massive economic inequality we see today (a few people making millions every single day while most living in poverty); then there is little or no hope to efficiently tackle the two biggest problems we all face: environmental deterioration and poverty. The core of the problem is the political unbalance that comes with massive economic inequality.

    • @debbiehenri345
      @debbiehenri345 3 роки тому

When ice flows from the land and into the sea - the iceberg displaces water and causes the sea level to rise (obviously by a very tiny amount).
However, since the iceberg is now exerting pressure on the sea, when it melts the sea won't rise any more.
You can try an experiment for yourself by placing some ice in a glass and then pouring in water up to the brim. Let the ice melt and you will see the water won't flow over the brim.
