    It is not hard to give a eulogy when you do not have to make up nice thingsc to say. President Carter was too good a person to be President of US. An honorable man who not only talked the talk but walked the walk.

      Almost my exact words: "too good a person to remain President of US" 🙂Peace

    Andrew Young was ordained in 1957, before any of us were born. It is an ordination he still holds in my church, the United Church of Christ. He still preaches at 92. So to say he is a pastor does not make him my pastor. He did a great job, like his friend Jimmy Carter.

    President Carter's final public service was to permit and furnish a meditation through the eloquent eulogies, anecdotes and liturgical readings of a man of character, integrity, decency, courage and accomplishment in stark contrast to an individual with none of those qualities about to ascend to the American Presidency. Will any of that penetrate or prompt reconsideration?

    Insulting!! Andrew Young is not Jimmy Carter's pastor. What's wrong with the title

      Please settle yourself and consider this: pastor | ˈpastər | noun
      a minister in charge of a Christian church or congregation.
      Pastor Andrew Young used in a UA-cam title in no way conveys that he was Jimmy Carter's pastor, but it is one of the hats he has worn. The two men were close friends for many decades and President Carter appointed Young as UN Ambassador in 1977.

      Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is not my prime minister, but he is still the Prime Minister of Canada, isn't he? Or did I get that wrong?

    • @raycakes1

      @@carolwashington6881, you clearly didn’t see the original title. The original title indicated that this was Tony Lowden speaking, who was actually Jimmy Carter’s personal pastor. They have since changed the title to reflect Andrew Young. No one needs to “settle” themselves.

    what did his personal pastor think about Carter being a member of a Party that doesn't believe in the sanctity of human life?

    • @MinervaGates
      @MinervaGates 15 днів тому +9

      He never abandoned his party. That should answer your question. Your comment is foolish and inappropriate for this occasion. Your character and judgment are brought in to question

      Whoever you are pray that when your time comes you get even a portion of respect. I find you to be a true dunce even your family and friends agree. Put it to the test and prove me wrong. .. Dunce.

      sanctity of human life you say but I bet you are against gun control and other things that help human life like providing free healthcare, supporting the poor and the needy etc. Who are you to come and judge someone thinking being pro-choice makes someone a non-believer in the sanctity of human life.
