    So you already in Germany for 7 years and still haven't gotten citizenship, and that tells something, " it's not easy as they say"

      wrong. people visit/move to countries for different reasons. reasons which can change over time. there is also a difference between ppl who want live somewhere and ppl who decides to live forever somewhere or are chosing that as a new base. getting a citizen ship is NOT for everyone the first goal - for many that grows over time after they noticed 'ops, i am still here, maybe this might be interesting'. and it also depends on - like in this case - on the differente pass situations and so on.
